More Treats

Hello my crafty friends!  Here are some baskets I made this weekend.  I made the pink one with my wonderful friend.  A friend shared with her so she shares with me.  I love you "T"!  I made the top three on my own and embellished them with different mini flower punches.  I colored the rhinestones with Sharpie markers so they would go with the flowers.  I used the Stampin' Up! circle punches and the scalloped circle punch.  For the sentiments I used the Cardz TV Stamps set "Easter Punnies", and "Happy Days."  I just love these sets!  I will be making more to give to family.

Thanks so much for stopping by my friends!  I would really love to hear from you!

Lots of Hugs,

Easter Treat Holder

Hello my crafty friends!  If you are looking for my "Good Times" Blog Hop card CLICK HERE.  A friend of mine shared directions she had found a long time ago for this box with me.  I'm not sure where they came from.  I made this for a very special friend for Easter.

The purple and green polka dot papers are from Bo Bunny.  I used a Martha Stewart punch for the basket and eggs.  I used the Fiskars grass border punch for the grass and sponged it with Cottage Ivy Memento ink.  The paper was lighter before that.  The large scallop was punched using an EK Success 3 inch punch, the green circle is a 2 1/2 inch punch, and the white one is 2 11/16 inch punch.  I used foam squares on the back of the green circle.

Just a reminder, I will announce the winner of my blog candy on Monday March 25th.  I have loved each and every one of your comments!  They have made my weekend!  So please come back tomorrow to see if you've won.

Lots of Hugs,
Laura

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Happy St. Patrick's Day my friends!  If you are looking for my CTVS DT Challenge #26 "It's So You!" card CLICK HERE  I just wanted to share something I made a while ago.  I had a craft night with a friend.  She was working on one of these for a friend's birthday.  I told her I wanted to make one.  So she shared the directions and I made a couple of St. Patrick's Day ones.  I modified it a little bit.  I made the back shorter than the directions.  I used the Cardz TV Stamps set "St. Patrick's Day."  I used a Martha Stewart punch for the clovers,  EK Success and McGill punches for the sentiment mats.

I hope you are all having a wonderful weekend!  I'm glad you stopped by and really hope to hear from you.

Lots of Hugs,
Laura

Easter Card

Hello my crafty friends!  If you are looking for my CTVS Design Team Challenge, "It's So You!"CLICK HERE.  I just can't seem to put the Creative Cartridge down!  Here's another card I made with it.  It's cut out at 5 1/4 inches including the layers.  The cross came from the Inspired Heart cartridge and was cut at     3 3/4 inches.  For the sentiments I used the Cardz TV Stamps Set "Easter Blessings."  This is a beautiful set.  I just love the verses she's used.  The patterned paper is from Graphic 45.  The beige mat was run through the Cuttlebug using the Modern Wallpaper folder.  The small flowers on the front are from a little cluster I had found at Michaels in the wedding aisle.  The purple ribbon is from Michaels.

I would love to hear from you, and thanks so much for stopping by!  I hope you all are having a wonderful sunny day.

Lots of Hugs,
Laura

"It's So You!" CTVS Design Team Challenge # 26

Happy Friday my crafty friends!  Today starts another challenge for the Cardz TV Stamps Design Team.  Mary over at Cardz TV gave us a challenge to create a card, layout, or other project using our favorite colors.  So here's mine.  I love blue.  I looked for blue patterned papers and found it was hard to find royal blue patterned papers.  I found this paper stack from DCWV called White Ginger.  This has a lot of pretty papers.

For my card base, I used Creative Cards.  I love this cartridge!  I cut it out at 5 1/4 inches as well as the layers.  If you use a 12 x 12 piece of paper, you can cut two cards out at one time.  For the sentiments I used the Cardz TV Stamps set "Simply Said."  This is a great set.  I used two different Stampin' Up! punches for the outer sentiment.  The small pearls on the sentiment mat are from Recollections.  I didn't have any small flowers to match the patterned papers, so I sponged some white flowers with Memento Bahama Blue ink.  For the leaves, I used a McGill punch.

Now it's your turn to take the challenge!  Just create a card, layout, or other craft project using YOUR favorite colors.  Once you've finished, head on over to Mary's Blog and enter your project.  You have until noon EST March 21st.  I can't wait to see what you create!  Mary's giving away a set of her wonderful stamps to the winner.  I hope you stop by the other design team member's blogs for some wonderful projects.

Thanks so much for stopping by, and I would really love to hear from you!  I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Lots of Hugs,
Laura

If Friends Were Flowers

Hello my crafty friends!  If you are looking for my "Luck of the Irish" CTVS Design Team Challenge CLICK HERE  I recently purchased the new Creative Cards cartridge.  I love it!  Different card bases, layers,  and envelopes.  So awesome.  I LOVE different folded cards so I just had to make this tri-fold card.  I cut it out at 5 1/4 inches for all of the layers.  I used some Tim Holtz Tea Dye Distressed ink on the flowers.  The sentiment is from the Cardz TV Stamps set "Think Spring."  On the white mat with the flower, I used the Modern Wallpaper Cuttlebug folder.   The card base paper was purchased from a local craft store called Bennion Crafts.  I just love that store!  Did I mention it's only 2 -3 minutes away?

I hope Spring is really on it's way soon.  I'm ready for green grass, beautiful flowers, and warmer temperatures.  I will definitely be making more cards with this cartridge.  I hope you are having a blessed Sunday.  Thanks for stopping by and I would really love to hear from you!

Lots of Hugs,

Thank You Card

Hello my crafty friends!  If you are looking for my "Luck of the Irish" CTVS Challenge card CLICK HERE  I recently made a card for a neighbor of ours to say thanks for helping with snow removal.  I had recently purchased some Mini 8 punches from We Are Memory Keepers that were on HSN.  I used the Doily punch.  For the sentiments I used the Cardz TV Stamps  "Heartfelt Wishes" set.   I used a Stampin' Up! set for the flowers on the inside.  I ran the outside panel through the Cuttlebug using the Modern Wallpaper folder.  For the sentiment mats, I used my favorite McGill and EK Success punches.

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend.  Here around the castle we will actually be in the 40 to 50 degree range!  I'm glad to see the snow melting and actually see some grass in places.  I am so ready for Spring!  Thanks so much for stopping by and I would really love to hear from you!

Lots of Hugs,
Laura
