"Anything Goes!" Cardz TV Challenge

Hello my crafty friends!  The Cardz TV "Anything Goes!" Challenge is still going on.  Here is another project for the Challenge.  These are little tissue holders.  I used Cardz TV stamp set "Encouraging Thoughts."
The flowers came from a K & Co. set I found at Michaels.  For the sentiment mats, I used Stampin' Up!, EK Success, and McGill punches.

I hope to have a tutorial up for this soon.  I hope you've been working on your card, layout or other project for the Challenge.  You have until August 2nd to enter your project into Mr. Linky on Mary's blog.  She will be announcing the winner on Friday August 3rd.  The winner will receive a set of her awesome stamps, winner's choice!

"Anything Goes!" Cardz TV Challenge

Welcome to the "Anything Goes!" Cardz TV Challenge!  I'm so glad you stopped by!  I am so thankful to Mary from Cardz TV for having me on her Design Team for another term.  She is so wonderful and I am blessed to know her.  She is an amazing woman.  I call her Superwoman because she has so many things going on and does a wonderful job.  She has awesome videos that she shares, and her amazing stamp sets that I love so much!  She gave our Design Team a challenge to create a card, layout, or other project and ANYTHING GOES!

For my project, I made these little Post-It note holders.  I used 4 x 6 acrylic picture frames.  I cut the patterned paper to fit the frame.  For the "Good Friends Never Go Out of Style!"sentiment, I used the Cardz TV Stamp set "Good Friends."  For the "a Sweet Hello" I used the "Ticket Talk 2" set.  These are great sets.  ALL of her stamp sets are so wonderful!  The stamp sets spark creativity.   She has come up with a lot of really fun sets.  I hope you have had a chance to stop by and check them out for yourself.   You won't be disappointed.   And let me tell you, from personal use of these stamp sets, they are made from great quality polymer.  I usually use Memento inks on them and when I clean them it comes right off.

I put the sentiment inside on the patterned paper.  Then I put some bling on top of the frame and used ribbon from my stash.  The patterned paper came from different Recollections packs that I had bought at Michaels. I bought the frames from Bennion Crafts and Michaels.  They were under $2.00.  I found the Post-It notes for .99.  These are really inexpensive and really easy to make.  These would make wonderful Christmas gifts or Craft Fair projects.

So now it's your turn!  Just create a card, layout, or any other project, ANYTHING GOES!  This Challenge will be running from July 27th - August 2nd.  When you complete your project, just head on over to Mary's blog and enter your name and project into Mr. Linky.  She will be using random.org to pick a winner.  The winner will be able to choose a set of Cardz TV Stamps.  Easy peasy right?  I hope you join in the fun!  Also, I hope you check out the rest of the Design Team's blogs for more inspiration.

Thanks so much for stopping by!  I really would love to hear from you!

Layered Cards

I know I haven't posted in a while.  I spent the last week with my wonderful Mom.  She doesn't have internet so I haven't been able to post.  Anyway, two of my Design Team Sisters from Cardz TV recently made these kinds of cards, and I had seen them on a few Stampin Up! demonstrators blogs.  So I decided to give them a try.  For the sentiments, I used the Cardz TV Stamp sets "Think Spring" and "Encouraging Thoughts."  For the embossing on the green card I used a Sizzix folder called Floral Flourishes, and on the blue card I used the Cuttlebug folder called Palm Leaves.  One the green card I decided to use Memento ink and a Cat's Eye ink to give color.

My Design Team Sister made a tutorial so here is the link to her video. Pink E  You could mass produce these.  So easy.  I hope you give them a try.  I hope everyone is trying to stay cool!  Thanks for stopping by, and I would really love to hear from you!

Baby Gifts

Hello my crafty friends!  My wonderful neighbors recently had a little baby boy.  He's so precious!   I've had so much fun making these little gifts!  I forgot how tiny the Onsies are!  Anyway, I decided to make these fun little Onsie cupcakes and washcloth lollipops.  And I had to make a card.  The card came in a set I bought at Michaels from Doodlebug.  I just added patterned paper.  I made the little toy using Stampin' Up!'s word window punch and an oval punch, and I put one thickness of foam tape on the back.  I punched a small star for the toy.  I cut a small piece of blue cardstock and ran it through the Cuttlebug using the Lattice folder.   For the ticket and sentiment on the front and inside, I used the Cardz TV Stamp set "Ticket Talk 2."  This is a fun set.  The little dimensional Teddy Bear came from Recollections.

For the cupcakes, I bought a Cupcake Box and cupcake liners at Michaels.  I put stickers on the box.  I bought the Onsies at Old Navy and they came in a package of 4.  I just rolled them up and added them to the liners.  For the cherry on top, I used Pom Poms. For the lollipops, I rolled little washcloths and used sucker sticks and ribbon.  The little ducks on the flower pot are from Jollee's.  They are soft and fuzzy, I love them!  On the inside of the pot, I used Hershey's Cookies and Cream Kisses.

Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by, since you did, I would really love to hear from you!

Lots of Hugs,

Gift Bag/Purse

Hello my friends!  As I posted yesterday, I had finished a project before we left Thursday before my daughter's pageant.  I was so busy packing and running around, I wasn't able to post it before we left.  So here it is.  I found  a youtube tutorial and had to try it.  You could put all kinds of goodies inside, even a cupcake or a card and a small gift.   I altered the measurements because the dimensions given in the tutorial didn't work for the size of bag I have.  The sentiment came from the Cardz TV Stamp set "Garden Greetings."

The white panel on the front of the bag was cut at 4 7/8 x 6 1/4.  You need to make two, one for the front and one for the back.  The front flap white cardstock was cut at 2 x 4 7/8.  The patterned paper was cut at     1 3/4 x 4 5/8.   The paper came from a Recollections stack from Michaels.   For the strawberries on the front, I used the Hello Kitty cartridge.  The two on top were cut out at 1 1/4, the two on either side of the large one were cut at 1 1/2, and the large one in the middle was cut at 1 3/4.   I used my favorite EK Success corner punch.  I used small Velcro dots for closure.  I punched holes and put ribbon for the handle.

Thanks so much for stopping by, I would really love to hear from you!

Lots of Hugs,
Laura
