Cardz TV 3-D "New Baby" Challenge

Happy Friday my crafty friends!  Today starts another challenge over at Cardz TV.  The theme for this challenge is a New Baby.  (Picture heavy)   My project was inspired by a friend of mine who shared how to make this kind of card.  (Thanks Ann!)  For the "Jump for joy!" sentiment I used the Cardz TV Stamps set "Toad-ally Awesome."  For the "So SWEET!" and for the "Big Congrats!" I used the "Ticket Talk 2" set.

The patterned paper is from Recollections.  To create the Onesie on the front, I used the Baby Steps cartridge and cut it at 2 inches for all of the layers. I used stickers mounted to acetate that I mounted to the inside flaps.  I created the bow with the WRMK Envelope Punch Board.  And of course, I used my favorite EK Success photo corner punch.  The scallops were punched using a 2 3/8 and a 2 inch scallop punch.  The white circle is a 1 1/2.  The white circle on the card is 1 3/4, and the yellow scallop punch is 1 3/4.  I located a tutorial in case you want to make one.  I am pretty sure you'll want to.  I know I'll be making more!

Are you ready to join our challenge?  Just create a 3-D project for a new baby.  Then head over to Mary's Blog to enter.  You have until noon EST April 3, 2014 to enter.  Mary will be giving a set of her fabulous stamps to the winner.  I hope you visit the blogs of my Design Team sisters to see what fun projects they have created.  Thanks so much for stopping by, and I would really like to hear from you!  Have a great weekend!

Happy St. Patrick's Day

Happy St. Patrick's Day my friends!  Are you wearing green?  Here's a card I wanted to share with you that I had made a couple of weeks ago and saved it for today.  The shape of the card was made using Stampin' Up's heart framelits.  The paper for the base is from Reminisce.  I used gold foil paper for the sides, and card stock on top of that.  I ran it through my Big Kick using the Square Lattice embossing folder from Stampin' Up.  The sentiments are from the Cardz TV Stamps set "St. Patrick's Day."  I created the shamrocks using the small heart punch from Stampin' Up, and I created the stem using two oval punches.  I punched the smaller one first, then I punched the larger one around it leaving a small edge and then trimmed it at an angle.  Voila!

I hope your day has started off well!  Have a great day!

Lots of Hugs,

Cardz TV 3-D "Sugar Rush" Blog Hop

Hello my crafty friends, and welcome to the Cardz TV "Sugar Rush" Blog Hop!  If you arrived here from Michelle's blog you are headed in the right direction.   I'm so excited to share with you one of Mary's newest Cardz TV Stamps sets "Sugar Rush."  This set is fabulous for treat holders and cards.  I mean honestly, who doesn't love chocolate right?  This set is perfect for birthday cards and treat holders.   Any way, this is my project.  I made little file folder treat holders.

I used the We R Memory Keepers envelope punch board.  I've talked to a lot of people who just think the punch board is just for envelopes.  Well let me tell you, I've had so much fun with this little punch board over the last 6 months or so making cards, treat holders, and boxes.  The paper with the butterflies and the one with the little flowers are from a 6 x 6 Doodlebug paper pad, the brown and white polka dot paper is from Recollections.   What do you think?  How about some blog candy????

                                            Envelope Punch Board

St. Patrick's Day 3-D Cardz TV DT Challenge #3

Hello my crafty friends!  It's Friday and that means it's time for a Cardz TV 3-D DT Challenge.  Our theme is St. Patrick's Day.  For the sentiment I used the Cardz TV Stamps set "St. Patrick's Day."  I just love this Irish Blessing sentiment.  I used the Stampin' Up Deco Art Framelits to cut the mats.

I used an 8-inch straw wreath and wrapped it with white ribbon.  For the flowers I used the Stampin' Up Spiral Flower Die.  I cut them out with felt.  I used some Recollections pearls for the centers of the flowers, and added some foliage.  What do you think?

Now it's your turn.  All you have to do is make a 3-D project for St. Patrick's Day.  Add it to Mary's blog.  You have until noon EST March 19th.  Mary will be giving away a set of her awesome Cardz TV Stamps sets.  I hope you check out the other DT member's blogs for more inspiration.

Thanks so much for stopping by!  I hope to hear from you!  Have a great weekend!

Lots of Hugs,
