Cardz TV 3D DT Challenge # 3

Hello my crafty friends and welcome to the Cardz TV 3D DT Challenge!  Today starts a new challenge.  The challenge is to create an embellished bag for a new baby.  We could either buy a bag or create a bag and embellish it.  I chose to create my bag.

I used the Cardz TV Stamps set "Ticket Talk 2."  This set has a lot of fun sayings.  I used double sided paper from Echo Park.  I cut the elephant and the rattle from the Sugar and Spice cartridge.  The elephant was cut at 2 1/2 inches, and the rattle was cut at 1 1/2 inches.  The butterflies were punched using the Stampin' Up Bitty Butterfly punch.  The googly eye came from Michaels.

Now it's your turn!  Come take the challenge with us.  Just embellish or create a gift bag for a new baby.  You have until March 5th to enter your creation.  Mary will be giving away a set of her fabulous stamp sets to the winner.

I wanted to thank those of you who commented on my last post about my dad.  It means so much to me.  It's been a day at a time for me.

I hope you have a wonderful weekend, and thanks so much for stopping by.  I would really love to hear from you.

Lots of Hugs,
Laura

Cardz TV Challenge #2 3D Valentine Treat Box or Bag

Hello my crafty friends!  Happy Friday and welcome to the Cardz TV 3D DT challenge.  Our challenge was to create a 3D Valentine treat box or bag.  I made these for Christmas for some nurses where my dad was receiving chemotherapy.  A friend had requested some of these for Valentine's Day.

I played around with the dimensions and came up with this box to hold Oreos.  I used the "Hugs and Kisses Cardz TV Stamps.  The red Oreos are the winter ones, and the pinkish ones are berry flavored. The cookie and candy paper is from Doodlebug, and the chevron paper is from the Stampin' Up Stacked with Love paper stack.  I used the Stampin' Up  Heart framelit set to make the window in the center, the mini heart punch from the Itty Bitty Punch pack set from Stampin' Up, and the Bow Builder punch from Stampin' Up for the bow.

Now it's your turn!  Just create a treat box or bag for Valentine's Day.  You have until February 19th to enter our challenge.  I can't wait to see what you create!

On a personal note, I haven't been posting on my blog for quite some time.  My dad passed away last month and life just got turned upside down for a while.  So much to do.  I'm sorry I haven't commented on some of your blogs for quite a while.  I hope to get back into some sort of routine soon.  Please be patient with me.

Thanks so much for stopping by, I would really love to hear from you!  Have a great weekend!

Lots of Hugs,
Laura
