3D CTVS DT Challenge #3 "All In Our Places"

Hello my crafty friends!  It's Halloween (Happy Halloween!), and it's Friday so it's time for another CTVS 3D DT challenge!  I can't believe how time flies!  Can you believe two months from today it will be New Year's Eve?  Whoa!  Anyway, our challenge is to make place cards for Thanksgiving.

For the sentiments I used the Cardz TV Stamps set.  This is a great set for Thanksgiving.  It has fun fonts and sayings for Fall and Thanksgiving.  For the boxes, I used the Curvy Keepsake Box framelit from Stampin' Up!, the feathers and leaves are framelits as well.  For the tags I used the Note Tag Punch.  I love how they turned out.

Now it's your turn!  Just create a place holder for your Thanksgiving table.  Once you're done, head on over to Mary's blog and enter your creation.  You have until noon EST Thursday, November 13th to enter.  Mary will be giving away a set of her awesome stamp sets to the winner.  I hope you take the challenge.

Thanks so much for stopping by and I would really love to hear from you!  Don't have too much candy tonight and have an awesome weekend my friends!

Lots of Hugs,

I've Got My Eyes On You

Hello my crafty friends!  I hope your weekend is going well.  If you are looking for my Cardz TV
3-D "Fun Fold" challenge CLICK HERE.  I wanted to share a little treat holder I made last week.

I just have to tell you, I love Mary's Cardz TV Stamps!  She has some of the best sentiments.  As soon as I received the new "Frankly Frightful" Halloween set I knew what I wanted to do.  I also used the "Trick or Treat" set for the "Happy Halloween"

The papers are from Doodlebug, and the eyeballs are chocolate with peanut butter inside.  Every year my mom has me make treat holders for the people at her bank.  So I've been making different ones I hope to share with you soon.

Thanks for stopping by, and I hope to hear from you!  Enjoy your weekend!

Lots of Hugs,

"Fun Fold" Cardz TV 3-D Challenge #2

It's Friday, and time for another Cardz TV 3-D Challenge!  Our challenge was to make a 3-D card for Halloween.  I love to make Tri-Shutter cards. This one is a little different because it has a bigger panel to write on.

For the "Flying by with a WITCHY hi!" I used the "Oct. 31st" Cardz TV Stamps set.  For the "BOOtiful!" and "YIKES" I used the "More Spooky Sayings" set. The "No tricks, Just Treats!" and "Happy OWL-oween!" came from the "Frankly Frightful" set.  These are all AWESOME sets for Halloween!  The papers, witch, cat, spider, owl, pumpkin, and little Franky are from Doodlebug.  The ghost was cut using the Fun Fall framelit set from Stampin' Up!

Now it's your turn!  Just create a 3-D card for Halloween (Box card, Easel, Stair Step, Side Step or Tri-Shutter etc)  You have until noon EST Thursday October 30th to enter.  Mary will be giving the winner a set of her awesome stamps.  I hope you stop by the blogs of my wonderful DT sisters.  You won't be disappointed!

Thanks so much for stopping by!  I would REALLY love to hear from you!  I hope you have a wonderful crafty weekend!

Lots of Hugs,

"Sweets for the Sweet" Cardz TV 3-D Challenge

Happy Friday my crafty friends!  "Welcome to the "Sweets for the Sweet" Cardz TV 3-D Challenge!  I'm so excited to start up our Challenges again!  Our wonderful Mary gave our DT a challenge to make a candy wrapper or candy holder for Halloween treats.  All my friends know how much I LOVE to make treat holders.

The sentiment on the fry box came from the Cardz TV Stamps set "Trick or Treat."  For the fry box, I used the Stampin' Up! fry box die.  The sentiment on the hamburger box came from the "More Spooky Sayings" stamp set.  I used the hamburger die from Stampin' Up! for the box.  The sentiment on the milk carton came from the "October 31st" set.  For the milk carton, I had found this TUTORIAL.  I had to change the lid a little bit longer to fit the box with the soda can inside.  I changed the measurements to 3 1/2 x 10 1/2.  The score marks along the 10 1/2 side are the same,
2 1/2, 5, 7 1/2, and 10.  The scorelines along the 3 1/2 side are the ones I changed.  They are 3,
4 1/4.  The papers are from Doodlebug.  The little mini clothespins are from Recollections.  The spider is from my local grocery store.

Now it's your turn to take the challenge!  Just make a candy wrapper or a candy holder for Halloween treats.  Easy peasy!  Just head on over to Mary's Blog and add your project.  You have until noon EST Thursday October 16th to enter.  Mary will be giving away a set of her amazing stamps to the winner.

In case you've been wondering where I have been, life has been upended recently.  My dad has cancer that has gotten much much worse.  So needless to say life has been hectic.  Anyway, thanks so much for stopping by, and I would really love to hear from you!  I hope you take the challenge.  Don't forget to stop by the other ladies' blogs on the DT for more inspiration, and I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Lots of Hugs,
Laura
