Happy 4th of July

Happy 4th of July my crafty friends!  I just love the 4th of July.  I love celebrating America's Independence Day, and as a Navy Veteran, I am very thankful to those who have served our country, and especially thankful to those that are currently serving.

My mom had recently asked me to make some treat holders for her co-workers for the holiday.  You know me, I LOVE to make treat holders.  I made about 15 of these.  We went to Zurcher's to buy the colored sixlets.  Yum!  I used the Cardz TV Stamps "Happy Days".  For the "celebrate," I used one of the stamps that was in Stampin' Up's July Paper Pumpkin Kit.  The papers are from a 6 x 6 Doodlebug paper pad called Patriotic Parade.  I just love Doodlebug, especially since the company is right here in Utah.  It's so awesome how many companies are here in Utah like Stampin' Up DCWV, WRMK, American Crafts, Provo Craft, SEI, and Close to My Heart.  So awesome!

Well my friends, I hope you have a safe and wonderful July 4th!  Thanks so much for stopping by, and I really hope to hear from you.

Lots of Hugs,

Treats

Hello my crafty friends!   I hope you had a wonderful Fourth of July!  I know here at the castle we had a wonderful time.  Lots of good food and fireworks.  For our BBQ I made these little treat holders.  In elementary we used to play with these little cootie catchers.  Remember these?  These are just turned upside down.  I used a 6 x 6 paper pad that I bought last year from my local craft store Bennion Crafts.  Love that store.  I used the Cardz TV Stamps set "Happy Days" and "Good Times."  Inside are Jelly Bellys and
M &M's.  I used ribbon from my stash.

Thanks for stopping by and I would really love to hear from you.  Have a great day!

Celebrate July 4th

Happy 4th of July my crafty friends!  I hope you have a safe and wonderful holiday!  I just love Independence Day!  I love red, white, and blue.  I'm proud to have served in the United States Navy, and am thankful for all of the active duty military currently serving to ensure our freedom, and all of the Veterans who served as well.  I hope you celebrate with family and friends today.  Here at the castle we are going to have a BBQ.  Lots of good food!

Now onto my card.  I'm not exactly what to call this card.  I guess a pop-up card.  A good friend of mine shared with me quite a while ago.  So I finally got around to it.  The blue paper and the bottom piece are from Doodlebug.  The striped paper was from my stash.  I used the Cardz TV Stamps set "Good Times" for the "Celebrate."  On the inside I used the "Happy Days" set.  I used my favorite EK Success corner punch.  The star was punched using a punch I've had for a very long time.

Thanks so much for stopping by, and I would really love to hear from you!  Please be safe and have fun!  I will be sharing some treat holders I made for the BBQ.

Lots of Hugs,
Laura
