Just Buzzing By

Hello my craft loving friends! I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend.  I made this card last night. For the sentiment I used the Cardz TV stamp set "Going Buggy."  This such a cute set.

This card base is a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 and the paper came from a Recollections paper pack.  The yellow mat is from Bazzill and was cut at 4 x 5 1/4.  The white cardstock is 3 3/4 x 5.  I ran it through the Cuttlebug using the D'Vine Swirls folder.  The beehive came from the Walk In My Garden cartridge.  I cut it out at 2 3/4, and cut the blackout out at 3 inches.  The hive can be found on page 114.  Since I am Queen of this castle and I love crowns, I thought I would use a Queen Bee.  The adorable bees came from the Kate's ABC's cartridge.  The queen bee was cut at 1 1/4.  For the smaller bee I cut it out at 2 inches.  You will have to cut it out twice for the two different sizes since it cuts out both at one time.  I probably could've used my Gypsy but I didn't.

Thanks for taking the time to stop by, I would really love to hear from you!  I hope you all have a great week!

Lots of Hugs,
Laura

Cardz TV Design Team Challenge #6 Day Two

Here is my day two card for our Cardz TV Design Team Challenge.  Today is so overcast and the winds are really blowing, you would think it's April.

For the Ladybug Hugs and Daisy Kisses, I used the Cardz TV Stamps set "Think Spring."  The inside sentiment came from the same set.  The font is beautiful!

The flower pot, daisies, and the stems came from the Walk In My Garden cartridge.  I haven't used this one for a while and Mary's "Think Spring" set goes perfect with this cartridge.

The flower pot was cut at 2 3/4 inches.  The smaller daisies were cut at 3/4 inches.  The larger one was cut at 1 inch.  The daisies in the flower pot were only glued behind the center and I lifted the petals.  The stems were cut at 2 3/4 inches and I cut some off the top.  The cute little ladybugs are brads from Recollections I found at Michaels.  The corner punch I used on the inside is from EK Success.

Now it's your turn!  Just create a card, or layout, or other project, and remember ANYTHING GOES!  Just add it Mr. Linky on Mary's blog by Sunday February 26th Midnight E.S.T.  Mary is giving away a set of Cardz TV Stamps to the winner chosen by Random.Org.  P.S. winner's choice!!!!  Please stop by and check out the rest of our Design Team's awesome projects.

Thanks for stopping by, I would love to hear from you!  Hope you all are having a wonderful weekend!

Cardz TV Design Team Challenge #6

Welcome to the  Cardz TV Design Team Challenge "Anything Goes!"  Mary gave us a challenge to create a card or other project and ANYTHING GOES!

For my project I used the Cardz TV Stamp set "Think Spring"  This is a wonderful set!  It has a lot of great Spring sentiments.

I didn't use my Cricut on this card.  For the flowers I used a punch.  For the centers I used little pearls from Recollections.  I used a Stampin' Up! punch for the Think Spring.  For the middle flap Celebrate Spring sentiment I used two different Mc Gill punches.  I just love the font Mary chose for the inside sentiment.  It's gorgeous!  The patterned papers came from JoAnn's.

For the card base, I cut a piece of purple Bazzill cardstock 8 1/2 x 4 1/4 and scored it at 3 1/2.  The green card was cut at 8 1/2 x 3 and scored at 4 1/4.  The flowered paper for the front flap was cut at 4 x 3 1/4 as well as the inside flap.  The inside larger mat was cut at 4 x 4 1/4.  The blue mat on the smaller card was cut at 2 3/4 x 4.  The white mat for the inside of the small card was cut at 4 x 2 3/4.

Now it's your turn to join the fun!  Mary is giving away a set of Cardz TV stamps to the winner!  So go have fun and add your project in Mr. Linky on Mary's blog.  You have until midnight Sunday February 26th E.S.T.  Thank you so much for stopping by!  I invite you to check out my Design Team Sister's blogs for more creative inspiration!  I hope you leave me a comment!  I would love to hear from you.  Have an awesome weekend and I hope you play along with us!

Pot O' Gold

Here is a St. Patrick's Day Card I made a while back.  The card base measures 5 x 6.  The pot is from the Paper Doll Dress Up cartridge.  I cut it out at 3 3/4 inches.  The coins were made using a small circle punch. I used shiny gold paper.  For the two medium shamrocks on the sides, I used a Martha Stewart punch.  In the corners I used shiny confetti from my stash.  The sentiment on the large shamrock is one that I've had for a few years and I'm not sure where it came from.  The Pot Of Gold stamp is from Studio G.  The paper was from my ever growing stash of papers.  Hope you all are having a wonderful President's Day.  Thanks so much for stopping by.  I would love to hear from you!

"I Ruff You!"

I wanted to post another card for Valentine's Day.  The sentiment is from the "Barks and Bones" set from Cardz TV Stamps.

I cut the dog from the Every Day Paper Dolls cartridge at 3 1/2 inches.  I used a gel pen to make the collar, and used a Studio G mini punch for the heart.  The papers with cupcakes on them came from a Recollection pack from Michaels.  The heart paper came from a K & Company stack.  The cupcakes on the bottom came from JoAnn's.  I punched the corners using an EK Success punch.  For the inside sentiment I used a stamp from my ever-growing collection.  The hearts were punched using a Studio G mini punch.  I hope you like it!  I would love to hear what you think.  Thanks for stopping by!  Hope you are having a wonderful Valentine's Day!

Lots of Hugs,
Laura

Happy Valentine's Day!

I wanted to wish all my craft loving friends a Happy Valentine's Day!  I wanted to share with everyone some treats I made for my daughter's class.  We made 33 of these.  The sentiment is from a Cardz TV Stamps set called "Be My Valentine."  I love this set!

The papers are from K & Company, and a Recollections pack from Michaels.  I used the Stampin' Up! full heart punch.  I didn't put embellishments on them because I know the kids are just going to throw them away.  Inside are Hershey's Kisses.  Yummy!!!!  Who doesn't love chocolate right?
                                        Recipe

I cut the paper at 4 1/4 x 5 1/2.  I scored it at 1 1/2 inches, 3 inches, 4 1/2 inches.  I used a Herma removable glue runner on the bottom to hold the kisses in place.  I used to handy dandy ATG gun to put adhesive on the backs of the hearts with the sentiments.  Easy peasy!  On the back we used a punch to cut out cardstock and wrote they were from her.  Thanks so much for taking time to come by.  I would love to hear from you!  Hope you have a wonderful Valentine's Day!  Mwah!

Lots of Hugs,
Laura

Cardz TV Design Team Challenge #5 "Tickled Pink"

Welcome to the Cardz TV Design Team Challenge #5 "Tickled Pink"!  Mary over at Cardz TV gave us a Challenge.  When I found out what the challenge was, I was "tickled pink"!  Who doesn't love pink?  For this card I used two stamp sets from Cardz TV Stamps.  The "You Make My Heart Sing" is from the Hugs and Kisses stamp set, and the "Happy Valentine's Day" stamp is from the Be My Valentine stamp set.  I just love the font used for the "Happy Valentine's Day" stamp.  Please stop by and take a look at them, they are wonderful!

This card is a Double Z Fold Card.  The pink paper used for the card is Bazzill cardstock.  The patterned paper came from a K & Company paper pad.  The bird was cut from the Create A Critter cartridge.  I cut the bird and all it's layers at 1 3/4.  This can be found on page 65.  The heart also came from the Create A Critter cartridge and was cut at 3 3/4 inches.  It can be found on page 64.  I ran it through the Cuttlebug using the Textile folder.  On the two inner panels, I used the Allegro Cuttlebug folder.  For the music notes on the front, I used mini Studio G punches.  For the corners on the inner panel, I used an EK Success punch.

Now, it's your turn to take the challenge!  Just create a card, scrapbook page or other project using pink as your primary color, go to Cardz TV and add your project to Mr. Linky.  You have until 12:01 A.M. E.ST. on Sunday February 12th.  She will use Random.org to pick a winner.  Mary is giving away a set of Cardz TV Stamps!  Good luck!  Also, check out my Design Team Sister's blogs to see their awesome projects.

Thanks for taking the time to check out my blog.  Please let me know you stopped by and leave me a comment, I would love to hear from you.  I hope you all have a safe and fun weekend!
