"Brew Ha Ha" Cardz TV Stamps Blog Hop!

Welcome to the Cardz TV Stamps "Brew Ha Ha" Blog Hop!  If you came here from Rachelle's Blog you are headed in the right direction.   I'm so excited for this Hop because Mary over at Cardz TV decided to do a coffee and tea stamp set and let our design team brainstorm ideas for the set.  We had so much fun doing this!  I just love this set!  Mary asked us to make a card, craft, or layout using this special edition set.  I was all over it!  I've had the card I made in mind ever since we finalized the set.

This card is a 6 x 6 card and I used Bazzill cardstock.  The patterned paper came from a 6 x 6 mat stack I found at Bennion Crafts and is from Bo Bunny.  The little teacups and creamer came from Bo Bunny as well and are on foam tape.  For the tray, I used an oval from Spellbinders.  I used to circle punches to make the handles.  I ran the ivory cardstock through the Cuttlebug using the Kassie's Brocade folder, then used Memento ink on top.    For the corners, I used an EK Success corner punch I found at Bennion Crafts.  It punches out the two pieces.  I used some pearls from Recollections on top.  For the sentiment, I used punches from EK Success and McGill.

Who's ready for some blog candy????  Mary is giving away 2 sets of Cardz TV Stamps!  All you have to do is leave a comment on Mary's blog.  She will be announcing the winner on Monday, September 3rd.  AND, I have blog candy as well!  I'm giving away a
K & Company Smash Book!  It has the double sided pen/glue pen with it, and many beautiful pages.  All you have to do to be entered is 1.  Please be a follower of my blog. (I love my followers!)  2.  Please leave me a comment and a way to get a hold of you. (You know I love to hear from you)  I will announce the winner on Monday, September 3rd as well.

"Color Me Happy!" Cardz TV Stamps Challenge #13

Welcome to the "Color Me Happy!" Cardz TV Stamps Challenge #13!  Mary over at Cardz TV gave our Stamp Design Team a Challenge to a card or layout or craft project, any theme,  using marigold yellow, royal blue, and a rich purple.  We can use small amounts of white and black.  For the sentiments, I used Cardz TV Stamp sets "Encouraging Thoughts" and "Good Friends."

I decided to make this type of accordion card.  The blue cardstock came from Bo Bunny.  I cut it at
5 1/2 x 11, and scored it at 1 1/2, 3, 5 1/2, and 8.  For the panels I used marigold Bazzil.  The first panel was cut at 1 1/4 x 5 1/4, middle panel 2 1/4 x 5 1/4, and the back panel at 2 3/4 x 5 1/4.  I ran them through the Cuttlebug using the Lattice folder.  For the white sentiment mats, I used a Spellbinder die.  The watering can came from the Walk In My Garden cartridge and was cut at 2 1/2 using the shadow feature.  The umbrella came from the Create A Critter Cartridge and was cut at 2 1/2.  I ran it through the Cuttlebug using the Swiss Dots folder and dotted it with a white marker.  The flowers are from Prima, and of course I had to add a little bling.

Now it's your turn!  All you have to do is create a card, layout, or other craft project for any theme using marigold yellow, royal blue, and a rich purple.  You can use small amounts of black and white.  Once you've finished, head on over to Mary's blog and enter a photo of your project and a link to your blog into Mr. Linky.  You have until Midnight, Thursday, August 23rd to enter.  Mary will be using random.org to pick the winner.  She will announce it on Friday, August 24th.  Easy peasy right?  I hope you take the Challenge along with us!  Mary will be giving away a set of Cardz TV Stamps to the winner.

I hope you check out the other talented ladies on the Design Team!  Thanks so much for stopping by, and I would really love to hear from you!

Lots of Hugs,
Laura

Sweet Birthday Card

For our family, August and September are loaded with birthdays.  I made this card for someone's birthday this month.  I decided to make an easel card since I haven't made one in a while.  I found the patterned paper at Michaels.  It's two-sided.  The little cupcake came from Michaels and is from Recollections.  I decided to put an action wobble on the back of the cupcake.  I used the  Cardz TV Stamp set "Make A Wish" for all of the sentiments.   On the sides of the cupcake I used two balloon brads.  On the corners I used my favorite EK Success corner punch and added some bling.  For the SWEET! sentiment I placed a toothpick behind it.  I embossed the pink paper on the bottom with a Sizzix birthday set.  For the white mat, I used a Spellbinder's die.  The ink is from Memento and is called Rose Bud.

Well I hope you all are having a wonderful week!  Thanks so much for stopping by!  I would love to hear from you.

Lots of Hugs,

Friends Forever

Hello my friends!  I know I haven't been on here much lately, I've been shopping for school clothes and supplies.  You know we just had to buy the latest Skecher Ballerina tennis shoes.  School clothes wouldn't be complete with out them.  LOL  Needless to say my daughter has more clothes and more shoes than I do! My daughter starts school on the 22nd.  It seems like this summer has just flown by!

Anyway, here is a really quick card I made.  And by simple,  I mean super simple.  The card base is 4 1/4 x 5 1/2.  The tan Bazzil cardstock is 4 x 5 1/4.  I ran it through the Cuttlebug using a larger polka dot folder.  The next layers are actually stickers from Bo Bunny.  I found them at one of my favorite local craft stores, Bennion Crafts.  The sentiment I actually put foam tape on the back so it would stand out.  I know from the picture you probably can't tell.  I added pearls from my stash.  I had found these cute little flowers with the pearls already on them.  And there you have it.  I hope you all are staying cool and crafty.  Thanks for stopping by and I would really love to hear from you.  It really makes my day.

Lots of Hugs,
Laura
