New Year's Cheers

Well, the end of 2011 is almost here!  This has been a pretty good year.  Here's hoping 2012 is even better.  I hope to create many crafty things this coming year to share with you.

I've had the instructions for these for a loooonnng time and never got around to making them.  I think it came from Stampin' Up.  The blue based one was how the instructions were.  The white based one I modified the measurements a little bit.   I have the Home For Christmas stamp set from Cardz TV Stamps and it has Happy New Year on it.  cardztvstamps.blogspot.com  I thought it be perfect for these.  These are for people who don't drink champagne to toast at midnight.    The cardstock is from Michaels, and the patterned paper is from a DCWV stack from my stash.

I wish all of you a wonderful and prosperous 2012.  May you all stay safe, healthy, and crafty.  Cheers my friends!!!!

Hand Sanitizer Bags

I know I haven't posted very much lately and I apologize.  I have been super busy as I am sure all of you have been.  And now the day is here!  I can't believe it!  December has just flown by.

Here are some little hand sanitizer bags I made for Christmas day to share with my nieces.  I used the Home for Christmas and Holly Jolly Cardz TV Stamps.  cardztvstamps.blogspot.com  I bought the little bags at Michaels.  The little bottles of hand sanitizer came from Bath & Body Works.  The little penguins, polar bears, mittens came from my huge Christmas stash from last year.  I told myself I would try to use more of my stash instead of buying more this year.

I hope everyone has a very blessed Christmas with your families and friends.  And let us not forget the reason for the season.  Please stay safe.  Thanks for stopping by.  Please let me know you were here,  I love all of your comments!

My Daughter's Class Treats

Well today is December 22, and I have been running here, buying this, wrapping that, and making these treat holders for my daughter's class today.  Today is the last day of school until January 2, 2012 so she asked if I would make these for her class.  I made 32 of these little holders.  I modified them because I know they are going to end up in the garbage.  I made some that have plain colored cardstock for the base, then you cut patterned paper to put on top.  That would've taken a lot more time.  (Sorry for the terrible lighting, I took the pictures at 6:00 a.m.)  So I decided to cut them out of paper I bought from Michaels.  The sentiment came from the "Home For Christmas" stamp set from Cardz TV Stamps  cardztvstamps.blogspot.com  I might make some more of these for Valentine's Day.  Which reminds me, I was at a local store the other day and they already had Valentine's candy out!  Wow.  Anyway, I hope everyone is having a great day.  Thanks so much for stopping by!  Please let me know you were here, I would love to hear from you.

Lots of Hugs,

Card For Cardz TV "Crafty Christmas" Challenge

Welcome to the Cardz TV "Crafty Christmas" Challenge!  Mary over at cardztv.blogspot.com gave us a challenge for a card, tags, mini album, home decor item, gift or candy container using Cardz TV Stamps.  So let's have some fun!

This is my card I made for the challenge.  It's a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 card base.  The stamp "Rocking Around The Christmas Tree stamp is from the Cardz TV Stamp Set Holly Jolly.  I really love this set!  Here is a link to check out the AWESOME stamps Mary has to offer.  cardztvstamps.blogspot.com   I used embossing powder for the stamp.  I used an EK Success punch to punch it out.  The sheet music paper was cut at 4 x 5 1/4 and is from Echo Park.  The tree with presents is actually a cardboard sticker with foam tape on the back.  The little musical notes around the tree were punched out using a mini Studio G punch.  I used an EK Success corner punch on the corners and dotted them with a white gel pen.

I invite you to head over to cardztv.blogspot.com and join in on the fun!  Mary is so wonderful and is giving away two sets of Cardz TV Stamp sets.  One is called "Encouraging Thoughts", and the other is called "Make A Wish."  Just post a card or other project with your name and a link to your card in Mr. Linky by midnight EST December 11th.  She will be using random.org to pick a winner for the stamp sets.  Also, please check out the projects  made by the other talented ladies on the Cardz TV Design Team.

Ghirardelli Chocolate Holder

Here are some little treat holders I made with Ghirardelli chocolate squares.  A friend of mine had given me one of these so I carefully took it apart to find the score marks and size of the paper.  Then I glued it back together and kept it.   I had made a bunch of these this past Easter for my daughter's class.  They were a big hit with her friends so I thought I would make some for Christmas.  The sentiments are from my awesome friend Mary's Cardz TV Stamps.  The set is called Home For Christmas.    Please click on this link to check them out.  cardztvstamps.blogspot.com  The papers are from a pack from Recollections I bought at Michaels.   I think they are fun little treats to give to friends.  Thanks for stopping by, please let me know you were here.  I love to hear from you!

Warm Winter Wishes

I have had this card in mind ever since I bought Joys Of The Season when it first came out years ago!  I just never got around to it.  When I was selected to by on Cardz TV Stamps Design Team, one of the stamps on the Home For Christmas set had Warm Winter Wishes on it.  So I figured it was time to make this card.  Please check out the awesome Cardz TV Stamps at  cardztvstamps.blogspot.com

This card is 5 1/2 x 5 1/2.  The Warm Winter Wishes sentiment is from the Home For Christmas Cardz TV stamp set.  The fireplace is from Joys Of The Season cartridge.  I cut it out at 2 1/2 inches and all of the layers.  The patterned paper is from a DCWV stack I purchased last year I think.  The holly leaves are from a mini Studio G punch from Walmart.  The stockings are actually buttons I bought at Hobby Lobby.  They are really soft and fuzzy.  Have a great weekend!  Thanks for stopping by and please leave me a comment.  I really love comments!

Believe

Here's a quick card I made last night using the Cardz TV Stamps Home For Christmas.  Here's a link to Cardz TV Stamps  cardztvstamps.blogspot.com  This is a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 in. card.  The window is from the Christmas solutions.  I cut it out at 4 inches for the brown window pane and the blackout.  Santa and his sleigh, and the moon were also cut from the same cartridge.  Santa and his sleigh were cut at 1 inch.  It's very detailed so I had to be careful taking it off the mat.  The moon was cut at 1/2 an inch.  The patterned paper is from one of DCWV stack from last year.  Thanks so much for stopping by.  Please let me know you were here and leave me a comment.  I would love to hear from you!  Have an awesome day!

Turkey Family

Here are is a family of Turkey Nuggets.  I made the Dad first and then thought he needed a Wife.  And of course next came the baby!   I got the idea from Stampin' Up! so of course I had to try it.  The feathers are made from a scalloped punch.  The face is a circle punch.  I just cut a small square and folded it in half for the beak.  I used a flower punch and cut two of the petals for the warble.  I wrapped the nugget in the same color of cardstock.  These are really simple to make. Hope everyone is having an awesome day!  Thanks for stopping by and I hope to hear from you!

Lots of hugs!

Halloween Candy Bowl

Here is a Halloween Candy Bowl I made today after seeing the one  my friend at Country Lady Designs had made.  It reminded me I had found the recipe for this really fun bowl a while back and hadn't made one until today.  Most of the papers are from Recollections stacks except the green with pumpkins and ghosts, which I found at Hobby Lobby.  The ribbon is from Michaels.  The Trick-or-Treat and the witches feet  stamps are from Michaels dollar bins this year.  The little candies are from a sticker sheet I found there as well.  These are so simple and fun.  I'm going to fill it with candy and set it out.   I can't wait to make more.  I hope everyone has a safe and fun weekend.  If you stop by, please let me know.  I love your comments!
