Cardz TV 3-D Challenge #6 "Its in the Bag"
Happy Friday my crafty friends! It's time for another Challenge at Cardz TV. Can you believe how fast December is going? It's going way too fast for me! Anyway, our new challenge is to create a Christmas gift bag.
,
For the sentiment I used the Cardz TV Stamps set "Christmas Critter Captions." This set is so adorable! I used double sided papers from Doodlebug for the bag. The bears and stars are stickers from Doodlebug. The trees were cut using framelits from Sizzix. I used a mini EK Success punch for the little light bulbs and used a silver metallic Sharpie to color the ends.
Are you ready to join us? I hope so! Just make a Christmas gift bag, enter it on Mary's blog. You have until noon EST December 25th. I can't wait to see what you create!
Thanks so much for stopping by, and I would really love to hear from you! Have a great weekend!

Cookies For Santa
Hello my crafty friends! I thought I would pop in and share these cookie boxes I made for my aunt to give to her luncheon friends. (I forgot to take pictures of the other ones. LOL) After messing around with dimensions, this is what I came up with.
The papers are from Doodlebug. I used the Apothecary Framelits set from Stampin' Up! to make the window. I used the Cardz TV Stamps set "Tiny Tidings" for the "May your holidays be SWEET!" and the "Christmas Joy" for the "Cookies for SANTA!." And let's not for get the Oreos.
Well, back to making cards, treat holders, and LOTS of shopping! It has been so nice around the castle, it's been in the upper 50's. Yesterday afternoon I was able to take my jacket off outside. The last time I went without a coat outside in December is when I lived in Hawaii. Crazy! Friday is supposed to be 61!
Thanks for stopping by, and I hope to hear from you!

CTVS 3D DT Challenge "Just For You"
Hello my crafty friends and happy Friday! Today starts another challenge over at Cardz TV. Mary gave our 3-D DT a challenge to make a Christmas gift card holder. Can you believe Christmas is next month???? I usually make a lot of gift card holders every year. Sometimes it's easier to give a gift card to that hard to shop for person.
For my gift card holder I used the Cardz TV Stamps set "Very Merry" for the "Something for your stocking!" The "Merry Christmas!" came from the "Tiny Tidings" set. These sets contain many wonderful sentiments for your holiday projects. When you open this gift card holder, the top flap pulls up the gift card. I made it using an EK Success Envelope Punch Board. Here's a tutorial I found. The paper came from a 6 x 6 paper pad from Doodlebug. I used a Fiskars punch for the stocking, a 3-inch scallop circle punch from EK Success, scallop oval punch, small oval punch, word window punch, modern label punch from Stampin' Up!
Now it's your turn to make one. Just create a Christmas gift card holder, head on over to Cardz TV and add your project. You have until Noon November 27th to enter. Mary will be giving away a set of her amazing stamps to the winner. I can't wait to see what you create!
Thanks so much for stopping by, I would really love to hear from you! I hope you have a safe and warm wonderful weekend! Here around the castle it has been very cold. Brrrr

For the sentiments I used the Cardz TV Stamps set. This is a great set for Thanksgiving. It has fun fonts and sayings for Fall and Thanksgiving. For the boxes, I used the Curvy Keepsake Box framelit from Stampin' Up!, the feathers and leaves are framelits as well. For the tags I used the Note Tag Punch. I love how they turned out.
Now it's your turn! Just create a place holder for your Thanksgiving table. Once you're done, head on over to Mary's blog and enter your creation. I just have to tell you, I love Mary's Cardz TV Stamps! She has some of the best sentiments. As soon as I received the new "Frankly Frightful" Halloween set I knew what I wanted to do. I also used the "Trick or Treat" set for the "Happy Halloween"
The papers are from Doodlebug, and the eyeballs are chocolate with peanut butter inside. Every year my mom has me make treat holders for the people at her bank. So I've been making different ones I hope to share with you soon.

It's Friday, and time for another Cardz TV 3-D Challenge! Our challenge was to make a 3-D card for Halloween. I love to make Tri-Shutter cards. This one is a little different because it has a bigger panel to write on.
For the "Flying by with a WITCHY hi!" I used the "Oct. 31st" Cardz TV Stamps set. For the "BOOtiful!" and "YIKES" I used the "More Spooky Sayings" set. The "No tricks, Just Treats!" and "Happy OWL-oween!" came from the "Frankly Frightful" set. These are all AWESOME sets for Halloween! The papers, witch, cat, spider, owl, pumpkin, and little Franky are from Doodlebug. The ghost was cut using the Fun Fall framelit set from Stampin' Up!

"Sweets for the Sweet" Cardz TV 3-D Challenge
Happy Friday my crafty friends! "Welcome to the "Sweets for the Sweet" Cardz TV 3-D Challenge! I'm so excited to start up our Challenges again! Our wonderful Mary gave our DT a challenge to make a candy wrapper or candy holder for Halloween treats. All my friends know how much I LOVE to make treat holders.
The sentiment on the fry box came from the Cardz TV Stamps set "Trick or Treat." For the fry box, I used the Stampin' Up! fry box die. The sentiment on the hamburger box came from the "More Spooky Sayings" stamp set. I used the hamburger die from Stampin' Up! for the box. The sentiment on the milk carton came from the "October 31st" set. For the milk carton, I had found this TUTORIAL. I had to change the lid a little bit longer to fit the box with the soda can inside. I changed the measurements to 3 1/2 x 10 1/2. The score marks along the 10 1/2 side are the same,
2 1/2, 5, 7 1/2, and 10. The scorelines along the 3 1/2 side are the ones I changed. They are 3,
4 1/4. The papers are from Doodlebug. The little mini clothespins are from Recollections. The spider is from my local grocery store.
Now it's your turn to take the challenge! Just make a candy wrapper or a candy holder for Halloween treats. Easy peasy! Just head on over to Mary's Blog and add your project. You have until noon EST Thursday October 16th to enter. Mary will be giving away a set of her amazing stamps to the winner.
In case you've been wondering where I have been, life has been upended recently. My dad has cancer that has gotten much much worse. So needless to say life has been hectic. Have your CAKE and eat it too!
Hello my crafty friends! I hope you are having a good Labor Day. In August and September we have a lot of Birthdays. I need to get on the ball and make cards for the September birthdays. So I wanted to share a birthday card I made using a Sizzix Circle Card Flip Die. These are really fun and super easy to assemble. The patterned papers I used are from Doodlebug. The "Have your CAKE and eat it too!" sentiment is from the Cardz TV Stamps set "Good Times." I used an old balloon punch that I've had for a very long time on the inside. Like I said, super quick and super easy.
I'm so glad you stopped by, and I would really love to hear from you! Have a great day!

Happy Blooming Birthday
Hello my crafty friends! I know it's been a while since I've posted. You know how summer takes over and you get to do non-crafty things. Anyway, I just wanted to quickly post a birthday card I made recently. It's called a Dutch Fold card. I've made them before and saw someone's and decided to make another one. Here's an old TUTORIAL from Splitcoast Stampers if you would like to make one. The flowers are from the Flower Patch Stampin' Up! stamp set as well as the Happy Blooming Birthday. I used the Flower Fair Framelits to cut them out. The inside stamp is from the Amazing Birthday stamp set from Stampin' Up!
We have lots of back to school shopping to get done. My daughter has had a growth spurt. School starts in two weeks. I can't believe it. I hope to be posting more when school starts up again. Lol Thanks for stopping by, have a great day!

Happy 4th of July
My mom had recently asked me to make some treat holders for her co-workers for the holiday. You know me, I LOVE to make treat holders. I made about 15 of these. We went to Zurcher's to buy the colored sixlets. Yum! I used the Cardz TV Stamps "Happy Days". For the "celebrate," I used one of the stamps that was in Stampin' Up's July Paper Pumpkin Kit. The papers are from a 6 x 6 Doodlebug paper pad called Patriotic Parade. I just love Doodlebug, especially since the company is right here in Utah. It's so awesome how many companies are here in Utah like Stampin' Up DCWV, WRMK, American Crafts, Provo Craft, SEI, and Close to My Heart. So awesome!
Well my friends, I hope you have a safe and wonderful July 4th! Thanks so much for stopping by, and I really hope to hear from you.

I'm So Glad
Hello my crafty friends! With the storms we've had the last few days my internet has been giving me fits! I hope the issues have resolved and I can get this post finally out. Just as I was typing this it's telling me an error occurred while trying to save. Grrrr. I'll make this post short and sweet. Anyway, this is my Father's Day card I made for my Dad. The stamps are from the "Father's Day" and "Going in Circles" Cardz TV Stamps sets. The L-O-V-E Y-O-U was stamped using a Recollections alphabet set.
This card was made for a friend of mine to give to her Dad for Father's Day. The stamps are from Stampin' Up.
I will close now and hopefully publish this post. Like I said I have tried many times to write this post. Internet can be so infuriating sometimes. Well, I hope you have a wonderful day! I would love to hear from you.
Lots of Hugs,
Laura
