Cardz TV 3-D DT Birthday Challenge
Hello my crafty friends! Today kicks off another Cardz TV Stamps 3-D challenge. Our challenge is to make a 3-D project for a birthday. My great-niece recently turned 1 year old, so here's the card I made for her.
I used the Cardz TV Stamps set "Make A Wish" for the "Look who's ONE!", and "Good Times" for the "Happy Birthday to YOU.!" Both of these sets are awesome for birthdays. The papers are from Recollections. The Hello Kitty is from an embellishment set I bought at Joanns. I have the Hello Kitty cartridges, but I saw this fun package and decided to use it. I cut the 1 out of the Birthday Bash cartridge at 2 inches for the number and shadow. I used an old balloon punch I've had forever, the presents were punched from a Martha Stewart punch, and for the cupcakes I used the Stampin' Up cupcake builder punch. I used my favorite EK Success photo corner punch on the corners, and the Artisan punch for the sentiment.
What do you think? Are you ready to join our challenge? Just create a 3-D project for a birthday. You have until noon EST Thursday March 6, 2014. Mary is giving away a set of her fabulous stamps to the winner. Please stop by all of my design team sisters' blogs for more inspiration. You won't be disappointed!
Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope to hear from you! Have a great weekend!

Birthday Card
Hello my crafty friends! I hope your weekend has been going well. Here's a card I made for my daughter's teacher. I recently earned this free set of Sale-a-bration stamps from Stampin' Up. I love free stamps!
The patterned papers are from a paper stack from Hobby Lobby. I used my favorite corner punch from EK Success, and the balloons were punched with an old punch I've had forever. The "Happy Birthday to YOU!" is from the Cardz TV Stamps set "Good Times."
Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope to hear from you!

Class Treats
Happy Valentine's Day my crafty friends! I wanted to share my daughter's treats she took to school this morning. I helped her take in her things for the party they are having to day, and the first words out of her teacher's mouth were "I can't wait to see what you've made this time!" The teacher and her friends always look forward to our treat holders. Lol. There are 16 girls in her class, and only 6 boys.
For the flowers and leaves I used the Blossom punch from Stampin' Up. I stamped the "Happy Valentine's Day" using the Cardz TV Stamps set "Going In Circles." I love this set! It has all of the different holidays. For the "Be Mine" I used "Hugs and Kisses." I punched the circle sentiment out with a 1 1/8 circle punch. I used the small heart punch from Stampin' Up for the center of the flower.
For the boys treats, I used the new Scallop Tag punch from Stampin' Up. I really love that punch. If you missed my tutorial on a treat holder I created, here is the LINK. For the hearts I used the small heart punch from Stampin' Up, and the larger heart is from an EK Success punch.
Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope your day is filled with love. I hope to hear from you.
Lots of Hugs,
Laura

Cardz TV 3-D DT "Valentine's Day" Challenge
Hello my crafty friends! Welcome to the Cardz TV 3-D Design Team Challenge! Our challenge is to make a 3-D project for Valentine's Day. Anyone who knows me knows I LOVE to make treat holders or 3-D items. This project holds a full size Snickers bar.
For the Love sentiment I used the Cardz TV Stamps set "Be My Valentine." For the "You Make My Heart Sing!," I used the "Hugs and Kisses" set. These two sets are full of wonderful sentiments for Valentines Day. I used a Stampin Up framelit called Starburst for the white behind the heart and embossed it with a Cuttlebug folder. I punched a Full Heart punch for the the Love. The cupids and dove were punched using Studio G punches. The paper is from Recollections.
Recipe
4 1/2 x 7 1/4 colored cardstock. With the long side of the paper at the top of your score board, score at 3/4, 2, 2 3/4, 4. Add adhesive just below the 3/4 inch score line. Insert the Snickers bar, then press together making sure the edges line up. Round the top corners. Cut a piece of patterned paper that measures 2 5/16 x 4 3/8 for the top back panel. Round the corners. Next cut a piece of the same patterned paper at 1 1/8 x 4 3/8. For the small front panel, cut a piece that's 5/8 x 4 3/8.
These are really quick to make and fun to give to a loved one, friend, or co-worker. So are you ready to join us for the Challenge? You have until Noon EST Thursday February 21st to enter. All you have to do is make a 3-D project, enter it on Mary's blog. She's giving away a set of her awesome stamps.
Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you have a wonderful weekend! Hope to hear from you!
Lots of Hugs,
Laura
