CTVS 3D DT Challenge "Just For You"

Hello my crafty friends and happy Friday!  Today starts another challenge over at Cardz TV.  Mary gave our 3-D DT a challenge to make a Christmas gift card holder.  Can you believe Christmas is next month????  I usually make a lot of gift card holders every year.  Sometimes it's easier to give a gift card to that hard to shop for person.

For my gift card holder I used the Cardz TV Stamps set "Very Merry" for the "Something for your stocking!"  The "Merry Christmas!" came from the "Tiny Tidings" set.  These sets contain many wonderful sentiments for your holiday projects.  When you open this gift card holder, the top flap pulls up the gift card.  I made it using an EK Success Envelope Punch Board.   Here's a tutorial I found.  The paper came from a 6 x 6 paper pad from Doodlebug.  I used a Fiskars punch for the stocking, a 3-inch scallop circle punch from EK Success, scallop oval punch, small oval punch, word window punch, modern label punch from Stampin' Up!

Now it's your turn to make one.  Just create a Christmas gift card holder, head on over to Cardz TV and add your project.  You have until Noon November 27th to enter.  Mary will be giving away a set of her amazing stamps to the winner.  I can't wait to see what you create!

Thanks so much for stopping by, I would really love to hear from you!  I hope you have a safe and warm wonderful weekend!  Here around the castle it has been very cold.  Brrrr

Gift Card Holders

Hello my crafty friends!  I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas!  Sorry I've been MIA.  I have been so busy.  I wanted to share some gift card holders I had made for my family get together yesterday.  The papers I've used are from Stampin' Up, Doodlebug, and Bo Bunny.  I used the Stampin' Up Pop N' Cuts die, and the WRMK Envelope Punch Board for the one that has three mini envelopes.

The sentiments are from Cardz TV stamps sets, the ornament stamps, Dec. 25,  Naughty or Nice, snowman, and reindeer are from Stampin' Up stamps.  The little ornaments were punched using a Stampin' Up punch.  The stocking punch is from Fiskars.

Well I hope to change gears soon to start on Valentine's projects.  Right now it's time to put away Christmas papers.  Let me tell you, they are all over my craft table.  I hope you all have a great weekend!  I would love to hear from you.

Lots of Hugs,

Hello my crafty friends!  I just wanted to share a gift card holder I made for a friend of mine.  She recently got married for the first time.  Lots of great food and they also hired a band.  It was wonderful.   I used the Cardz TV Stamps "Greater Love" set for the Bible verse, the "Happy Days" for the Happy Wedding Day!, and the "Simply Said" for the Best Wishes.  The paper is from my stash.

Hope you are having a wonderful weekend!  Thanks so much for stopping by, and I would really love to hear from you!

Gift Card Holder

Hello my crafty friends!  If you are looking for my CTV DT Father's Day Challenge CLICK HERE.  I made a gift card holder for my friend's daughter.  She lives in Washington and our daughters always send birthday presents.  I had some birthday paper in my stash that I used.  I embossed the two panels with the D'vine Swirls and Swiss Dots folders.

For the sentiments I used the Cardz TV Stamps sets "Make A Wish", and "Good Times".  Tucked inside is a Michaels gift card.

Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you have a very crafty day!  I hope to hear from you!

Lots of Hugs,
Laura

Cardz TV Challenge #11 "Anything Goes!"

Welcome to the Cardz TV Design Team Challenge #11 "Anything Goes!"  Mary over at Cardz TV gave our Design Team a Challenge to create a card or craft project using any theme or colors we'd like.  So I dug into a craft recipe book that I've had for a few years with projects I haven't done.  A friend had shared this recipe with me after she had given me one of these cute little purses with a gift card inside.  So I decided to make a few of these since I had never made one.

For the sentiments on the front, I used 2 different  Cardz TV Stamp sets.  The "God Bless You" and the "Sending You Love" came from the "Encouraging Thoughts" set.  The "It's Your Day" came from the "Make A Wish" set.  I really like how they turned out.  I hope you like them.

Now it's your turn to join our Challenge!  Just create a card or craft project using any theme or colors you'd like.  Once you've completed your project, head on over to Cardz TV and enter your project into Mr. Linky with a link to your blog.  You have until Midnight EST, June 24th to enter.  Mary is giving away a set of Cardz TV Stamps, WINNER'S CHOICE!  I hope you join us!  Also, I hope you check out my DT sister's blogs for more inspiration.

Thanks so much for stopping by, I would REALLY love to hear from you!  I will be posting a second project on Saturday so I hope you come back to my Castle to take a look.

Lots of Hugs,
Laura

"Say I Do!" Cardz TV Design Team Challenge #9 Day 2

Welcome to day two of the "Say I Do!" Cardz TV Design Team Challenge #9.  If you haven't seen my day one post, please scroll down to see the card I made.  This is a gift card holder I made out of a
4 1/4 x 5 1/2 envelope.  For the sentiments I used two different stamp sets.  The verse on the outside came from the Cardz TV Stamp set "Greater Love."  The Happy Wedding Day! came from the "Happy Days" set.  Love them!

I bought the envelopes from a local craft store called Bennion Crafts.  I love this store!  I am in there a LOT!
I found the patterned paper there as well and it matches the card that I made for day one of the Challenge.  It is double sided so I used the other side for the inside of it.   For the sentiment mat on the front of it, I used  the Nestabilities set Labels Four.  The ring is a sticker I found at Michaels.  The doves were punched using a Martha Stewart punch.  For the inside sentiment I used two different Stampin' Up! circle punches and the scalloped circle punch from Stampin' Up!  The ribbon was in my stash and I had found it at Joann's.

I hope you have stopped by the other ladies on the Design Team to see what wonderful projects they have created.  Also, Mary over at Cardz TV is giving away a set of Cardz TV Stamps, WINNER'S CHOICE.  To be entered for your chance to win, all you have to do is create a card, layout or other project for an engagement, wedding shower, or wedding.  Then add it into Mr. Linky on her blog.  You have until Midnight EST, Sunday May 27, 2012.  She will be using random.org and announcing the winner on Monday May 28th.  I can't wait to see what you create.

Thanks so much for stopping by and I would really love to hear from you.  Hope you all are having a safe and wonderful Memorial Day weekend.

Lots of Hugs,
Laura
