"Cute As A Button!" CTVS DT Challenge #28

Happy Friday my friends!  Today starts another challenge over at Cardz TV.  Mary gave our DT a challenge to create a card, layout, or other craft project using buttons.  I just had to use the Cardz TV Stamps"Food Punnies."  This is a really fun set with cute sentiments.   I can't wait to make more cards using this set!  Please head on over to Cardz TV Stamps and pick up a set for yourself.  I know you will love it!

My card is 4 1/4 x 5 1/2.  The blue gingham paper came from Michaels.  The buttons are from my stash.  The cute little egg with yolk is from the Just Because Cards cartridge.  It was cut at 4 1/2 inches.  The broken egg shell is from the Simply Charmed cartridge and was cut at 1 1/2 inches.  I used Tim Holtz Antique Linen Distress ink around the edges.  The spatula is from the From My Kitchen cartridge and was cut at 5 inches.  For the sentiment I used an EK Success punch and used Paris Dusk Memento ink.

Now it's your turn!  Just create a card, layout, or other craft project using buttons.  Easy peasy!  Once you've completed your project, head on over to Mary's blog and enter your project.  You have until noon EST Thursday, May 2, 2013.  Mary will be giving away a set of her fabulous stamps!  I can't wait to see what you create!

Thanks so much for stopping by, and I would really love to hear from you.  Have an awesome weekend!

Lots of Hugs,
Laura

Fall Easel Card

Hope everyone is having a wonderful Friday!  Here is a Fall Easel Card I finished today.  The patterened papers are from the Harvest Gathering Matstack from DCWV.  I really love this stack.  The scarecrow is from the Simply Charmed cartridge and was cut at 3 3/4 inches for all of the layers.  The fence is from the Bloom Cricut Lite cartridge.  The fence and the shadow were both cut at 2 inches.  The leaf on the bottom was cut from the Doodlecharms cartridge and cut at 3 1/2 inches for the leaf and the shadow.  The "Harvest" stamp is from the K Andrew Designs Winter Wishes stamp set.  The "Fall is here" stamp and the acorns and leaves stamp is from a Studio G mini I found at Walmart for .97.  The little flowers are from Recollections found at Michaels.  Thanks for stopping by and have an awesome weekend!
