Hello my crafty friends!  Happy Friday!  It's time for our last Cardz TV Mailbox Smiles Anything Goes Challenge.

Cardz TV Mailbox Smiles DT Challenge #6

Hello my crafty friends!  It's Friday and time for another Cardz TV Mailbox Smiles DT Challenge!  A friend of mine was showing me how she keeps the cards I have given her over the years in a box.  I came across this fold.  I'm not sure where I found this original fold.  So I sat down and measured the cut and scorelines then cut one out and took it home and went to work.  I wanted to give another friend a card who needs some TLC.

For the sentiment, I used the beautiful "Rejoice" set.  I just love this set.  It has beautiful Bible verses and I just love the font.  For the papers I used the Delightful Daisy DSP pack from Stampin' Up!  I didn't embellish because I liked the look of the DSP.

Ready to join the challenge?  You have until noon EST, July 27 to enter.  As a reminder, you don't have to use Cardz TV stamps, and it can be anything.  I can't wait to see what you create!

Thanks so much for stopping by, and I would love to hear from you!  Have a great weekend and try to stay cool!

Cardz TV Mailbox Smiles DT Challenge

Hello my crafty friends!  Happy Friday!  Today starts another Cardz TV Mailbox Smiles DT challenge!  Time flies when you're having fun, right?

Recently a wonderful friend of mine was invited to a card group get together with a friend.  I wasn't able to attend so I asked her if she could get me a kit.  The lady didn't have any more extras but I was able to get all I needed by measuring hers.  (I always keep a ruler handy.)  They had turned it into a kitchen.

I hadn't used the Cardz TV Stamps set "Brew Ha Ha " in quite some time so I decided this would be great for this card.  As you can see in the above photo, there are a lot of fun sentiments.  I love this set because we the DT were able to input our ideas for this set.  (Thank you Mary for that opportunity!)  As for the coffee cups and coffee pot, I cut them out of some DSP from Stampin' Up.

Are you ready for the challenge?  Just create anything!  You have until noon, EST, July 13, 2017 to add your project to Mary's blog.  I can't wait to see what you create!

Thanks so much for stopping by, and I would really love to hear from you!  I hope you all have a safe and wonderful weekend!

Cardz TV Mailbox Smiles DT Challenge

Hello my crafty friends!  It's Friday and time for another Cardz TV Mailbox Smiles DT Challenge.  My how time flies!  Middle of June already!?!?

My friend gave me another conversion challenge as well.  She found this card style but it was in centimeters and asked me to convert the measurements she wrote down with her sketch of it.  It's a bit tall.  I don't know what to call this fold.  My son's friends' grandmother passed away so I decided to make this card for his parents.

For the sentiments, I used the Cardz TV Stamps set "Heartfelt Wishes."  This set is great for sympathy cards, Get Well Soon cards, and even Thank You cards.  I used framelits, DSP and punches from Stampin' Up!  I forgot to take a picture of the envelope I made with my Envelope Punch Board.

What do you think?  Are you ready to take the challenge?  I hope so!  Simply create anything!  You don't even need to use Cardz TV stamps.  Mary will be giving away a set of her fabulous stamps to the winner!  You have until noon, EST, June 29, 2017.  I can't wait to see what you create!

Thank you so much for stopping by, and I would really love to hear from you!  I hope you have a great weekend!

Cardz TV Mailbox Smiles DT Challenge

Hello my crafty friends!  Friday is here and time for another Cardz TV Mailbox Smiles DT Challenge. The projects were submitted for the last challenge were fabulous!

For this week's challenge I made another birthday card.  I needed another birthday card so this is what I came up with.  My wonderful friend had shared the dimensions of this card with me.  The only problem was it was in centimeters.  She asked me if I would help her figure it out.  So I did.  (I'm not sure what the fold is called)

For the sentiments, I used the "Just Chillin" stamp set and the "Mixed Messages" set.  Both great sets. The DSP is from Stampin' Up! I used framelit dies and punches from Stampin' Up! as well.

Do you think they will like it?  Do you like it?  I sure hope so.  Are you ready to take the challenge?  It's easy peasy.  Just create anything!  You have until noon EST, Thursday, June 15,2017 to enter.  I can't wait to see what you create!

Cardz TV Mailbox Smiles DT Challenge #2

Hello my crafty friends!  It's Friday and time for another Cardz TV Mailbox Smiles DT Challenge.  I have to say that those who entered our last challenge had some amazing projects!

I needed a birthday card for a dear friend who I've known for many years.  She loves receiving handmade cards because she doesn't craft.  I had made this type of card a few years ago but it got lost and I had never sent it out.  It was a little bent so I measured and recreated it using different papers.  This time I used a Thinlit die from Stampin' Up! to cut out the front panel.  I really hope she likes it.

For the the front and back sentiments I used the Cardz TV Stamps set "Good Times."  I reach for this set a lot when making birthday cards.  Full of great birthday sentiments.  I used the Balloon Pop-Up Thinlits Dies from Stampin' Up! to cut out the center of the front panel.  For the confetti on the front, I used the Confetti punch from Stampin' Up!

What do you think?  Would you like to get a card like this in the mail?  Are you ready to take our challenge?  Simply create anything.  It could be a card or a box, or even a treat holder.  The sky is the limit.  You don't even have to use Cardz TV stamps.  You have until noon, EST, Thursday, June 1, 2017.  As always, Mary will be giving away a set of her fabulous stamp sets!  I can't wait to see what you create!

Thanks so much for stopping by and I would really love hearing from you!  I hope you have a fabulous weekend!

Cardz TV Mailbox Smiles DT Challenge # 1

Hello my crafty friends!  Mary has renamed our Design Teams and I am on the Mailbox Smiles DT!  They are both "Anything Goes DT's.

Since Mother's Day is 9 days away, I thought I would get a jump start on cards for Mother's Day.  So here is my project for this challenge.  For the sentiment on the front, I used the Cardz TV Stamps set "Mother's Day."  The sentiments on this set are wonderful.  For the sentiment on the back, I used the "Mini Messages."  This is a great set with loads of sentiments.  This is a definite must have.

For the box/card I used the Stampin' Up! Window Box Framelits Dies and the Bitty Butterfly punch.  Believe it or not, this card does fold flat so it can be mailed.  So what do you think?

Are you ready to join us in the challenge?  Just simply create anything!  It doesn't get any easier than that!  Just add your project to Mary's Blog.  You have until noon EST May 18, 2017.  I know you'll create something fabulous!

Hello my crafty friends!  It's Friday and time for another Cardz TV Anything Goes DT Challenge.  I can't believe it's the 31st of March.  Time to be working on Easter treat holders.  As always I have lots of them to make.  These are a very small portion of what is needed.

I just love Mary's Stamps!  For my little baskets I used the new "Spring Fling" and "Mini Messages" sets, as well as the "Going In Circles" set.  For the bunnies, little chicks and flower I used stamps and framelits from Stampin' Up!.  I had to make a little box for the Ferrero Rochers and then adhere the die-cut baskets to the box.

What do you think?  Are you ready to take the challenge?  Simply create anything!  You have until noon EST April 13, 2017 to enter.  Mary will be giving away a set of her amazing stamp sets to the winner.  I can't wait to see what you create!

Cardz TV Anything Goes DT Challenge #5

Happy St. Patrick's Day and Happy Friday my friends!  Are you wearing green today?  I hope so!  In our family tree we have some Irish.  It's hard to believe March is a little over half over.  But I am so ready for Spring.  Around the Castle it has been beautiful weather.  Mid to upper 60's and tomorrow it's supposed to be 70.

For today's challenge I've put together this box.  A friend of mine asked me to make some of these for her co-workers.  Not sure what to call them.  She was pleased and couldn't wait to hand them out today.  For the sentiment I used the Cardz TV Stamps set "St. Patrick's Day."  I've sure used this one a lot this month.  The DSP and card stock are from Stampin' Up!©  For the Shamrocks, I used a Martha Stewart punch I've had for years.

So what to do you think?  Are you ready to take the challenge?  I hope so!  I would love to see what you create.  Simply create anything!  A treat holder, box, card, scrapbook page, the sky's the limit!  Once you've created it, head on over to Mary's Blog and enter your project.  You have until Noon EST March 30th.  Mary will be giving away a set of her fabulous stamps to the winner!

Cardz TV "Anything Goes" DT Challenge #4

Hello my crafty friends!  It's Friday and time for another Cardz TV Anything Goes DT Challenge.  These weeks are just flying by!  St. Patrick's Day will be here before we know it!

For those of you who asked for directions for my last challenge found HERE, I will post a picture tutorial on Saturday if you'd like to come back and give it a go.

For this week's challenge I made this little mini coffee cup holder. For the sentiments, I used the Cardz TV Stamps set "St. Patrick's Day."  Last month when they started putting out the Easter candy, I saw these little gold coins.  I knew this set would be perfect for this. For the shamrocks I used a Martha Stewart punch and some gold foil paper.  I used a 4 oz. mini coffee cup with lid.  I purchased them from Web Restaurant Click here for the Mini Cups and here for the Mini Lids.  If you would like to make one of these holders for yourself, you will need: ⇩

A 2 1/2 x 11 piece of cardstock.
Place the 11 inch side at the top of your scoring board and score at:
4 1/2, 7, 7 3/4, 10 1/4.
On the end that has the 1/2 inch flap on the end, punch a 2 inch circle in the center between the two 1/2 inch sections.  Add adhesive to the 1/2 inch flap.  I recommend placing the cup in before pressing the flap to the back.

Are you ready to take the challenge?  Just create anything!  You have until noon EST March 16, 2017 to add your project to Mary's Blog.  I can't wait to see what you create!

Thanks so much for stopping by!  I would really love to hear from you!  I hope you have a fabulous weekend!  And don't forget to come back Saturday if you'd like to see how to make my previous project.

Cardz TV Anything Goes DT Challenge

We're baaaaack!  It's Friday and time for another Cardz TV Anything Goes Design Team Challenge!  I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and 2017 has started out great for you all!  It just seems like yesterday we were playing with Christmas papers.  Now it's time to focus on Valentine's Day.  Lots of reds and pinks.

I'm not even sure what to call this box.  A friend of mine had found the dimensions for this box on Pinterest.  She asked me to help her because the dimensions for the boxes didn't quite work, so I made an adjustment.  So here is my version.  The sentiment on the front "You make life so SWEET!" is from the Cardz TV Stamps  set "Sugar Rush."  This set has so many yummy sentiments that are perfect for cards and treat holders.  The "Happy Valentine's Day" sentiment is from the "Be My Valentine" set.  The papers are from Stampin' Up!, and I used framelits and punches from Stampin' Up!.  And let's not forget about the yummy treats inside!

Ready to take the challenge?  Just create ANYTHING.  Don't forget to add your project to Mary's blog.  You have until noon Thursday, February 2, 2017.  She's giving away a set of her fabulous stamps sets.   I can't wait to see what you create!
