Cardz TV Anything Goes DT Challenge #5

Happy St. Patrick's Day and Happy Friday my friends!  Are you wearing green today?  I hope so!  In our family tree we have some Irish.  It's hard to believe March is a little over half over.  But I am so ready for Spring.  Around the Castle it has been beautiful weather.  Mid to upper 60's and tomorrow it's supposed to be 70.

For today's challenge I've put together this box.  A friend of mine asked me to make some of these for her co-workers.  Not sure what to call them.  She was pleased and couldn't wait to hand them out today.  For the sentiment I used the Cardz TV Stamps set "St. Patrick's Day."  I've sure used this one a lot this month.  The DSP and card stock are from Stampin' Up!©  For the Shamrocks, I used a Martha Stewart punch I've had for years.

So what to do you think?  Are you ready to take the challenge?  I hope so!  I would love to see what you create.  Simply create anything!  A treat holder, box, card, scrapbook page, the sky's the limit!  Once you've created it, head on over to Mary's Blog and enter your project.  You have until Noon EST March 30th.  Mary will be giving away a set of her fabulous stamps to the winner!

Thanks so much for stopping by, and I would really love to hear from you!  Have a Happy St. Patrick's Day and a wonderful weekend!

Cardz TV "Anything Goes" DT Challenge #4

Hello my crafty friends!  It's Friday and time for another Cardz TV Anything Goes DT Challenge.  These weeks are just flying by!  St. Patrick's Day will be here before we know it!

For those of you who asked for directions for my last challenge found HERE, I will post a picture tutorial on Saturday if you'd like to come back and give it a go.

For this week's challenge I made this little mini coffee cup holder. For the sentiments, I used the Cardz TV Stamps set "St. Patrick's Day."  Last month when they started putting out the Easter candy, I saw these little gold coins.  I knew this set would be perfect for this. For the shamrocks I used a Martha Stewart punch and some gold foil paper.  I used a 4 oz. mini coffee cup with lid.  I purchased them from Web Restaurant Click here for the Mini Cups and here for the Mini Lids.  If you would like to make one of these holders for yourself, you will need: ⇩

A 2 1/2 x 11 piece of cardstock.
Place the 11 inch side at the top of your scoring board and score at:
4 1/2, 7, 7 3/4, 10 1/4.
On the end that has the 1/2 inch flap on the end, punch a 2 inch circle in the center between the two 1/2 inch sections.  Add adhesive to the 1/2 inch flap.  I recommend placing the cup in before pressing the flap to the back.

Are you ready to take the challenge?  Just create anything!  You have until noon EST March 16, 2017 to add your project to Mary's Blog.  I can't wait to see what you create!

Thanks so much for stopping by!  I would really love to hear from you!  I hope you have a fabulous weekend!  And don't forget to come back Saturday if you'd like to see how to make my previous project.

Hugs,

3D Cardz TV DT Challenge for St. Patrick's Day

Hello my crafty friends and welcome to the 3D Cardz TV DT Challenge for St. Patrick's Day.  This weeks' challenge is to create a treat box or bag for St. Patrick's Day.

I guess mine is sort of a box/bowl.  For the sentiment, I used the Cardz TV Stamps set

It has lots of fun sayings for St. Patrick's Day.  The patterned paper is from Echo Park, and I used gold shiny paper as a mat.  I used 1 3/8 and 1 1/2 circle punches, and a scallop circle punch.  And of course I used the oh so yummy Hershey Nuggets.

Now it's your turn!  Just create a box or bag for St. Patrick's Day, then enter your project on Mary's blog.  You have until noon EST March 19, 2015 to enter.  Mary will be giving away a set of her fabulous stamp sets to the winner.  I can't wait to see what you create!  Don't forget to stop by the other Design Team members' blogs for more inspiration.

Thanks so much for stopping by, and I would really love to hear from you.   I hope you have a great crafty weekend.

Happy St. Patrick's Day

Happy St. Patrick's Day my friends!  Are you wearing green?  Here's a card I wanted to share with you that I had made a couple of weeks ago and saved it for today.  The shape of the card was made using Stampin' Up's heart framelits.  The paper for the base is from Reminisce.  I used gold foil paper for the sides, and card stock on top of that.  I ran it through my Big Kick using the Square Lattice embossing folder from Stampin' Up.  The sentiments are from the Cardz TV Stamps set "St. Patrick's Day."  I created the shamrocks using the small heart punch from Stampin' Up, and I created the stem using two oval punches.  I punched the smaller one first, then I punched the larger one around it leaving a small edge and then trimmed it at an angle.  Voila!

I hope your day has started off well!  Have a great day!

Lots of Hugs,

St. Patrick's Day 3-D Cardz TV DT Challenge #3

Hello my crafty friends!  It's Friday and that means it's time for a Cardz TV 3-D DT Challenge.  Our theme is St. Patrick's Day.  For the sentiment I used the Cardz TV Stamps set "St. Patrick's Day."  I just love this Irish Blessing sentiment.  I used the Stampin' Up Deco Art Framelits to cut the mats.

I used an 8-inch straw wreath and wrapped it with white ribbon.  For the flowers I used the Stampin' Up Spiral Flower Die.  I cut them out with felt.  I used some Recollections pearls for the centers of the flowers, and added some foliage.  What do you think?

Now it's your turn.  All you have to do is make a 3-D project for St. Patrick's Day.  Add it to Mary's blog.  You have until noon EST March 19th.  Mary will be giving away a set of her awesome Cardz TV Stamps sets.  I hope you check out the other DT member's blogs for more inspiration.

Thanks so much for stopping by!  I hope to hear from you!  Have a great weekend!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Happy St. Patrick's Day my friends!  If you are looking for my CTVS DT Challenge #26 "It's So You!" card CLICK HERE  I just wanted to share something I made a while ago.  I had a craft night with a friend.  She was working on one of these for a friend's birthday.  I told her I wanted to make one.  So she shared the directions and I made a couple of St. Patrick's Day ones.  I modified it a little bit.  I made the back shorter than the directions.  I used the Cardz TV Stamps set "St. Patrick's Day."  I used a Martha Stewart punch for the clovers,  EK Success and McGill punches for the sentiment mats.

I hope you are all having a wonderful weekend!  I'm glad you stopped by and really hope to hear from you.

Lots of Hugs,
Laura

Pot O' Gold

Here is a St. Patrick's Day Card I made a while back.  The card base measures 5 x 6.  The pot is from the Paper Doll Dress Up cartridge.  I cut it out at 3 3/4 inches.  The coins were made using a small circle punch. I used shiny gold paper.  For the two medium shamrocks on the sides, I used a Martha Stewart punch.  In the corners I used shiny confetti from my stash.  The sentiment on the large shamrock is one that I've had for a few years and I'm not sure where it came from.  The Pot Of Gold stamp is from Studio G.  The paper was from my ever growing stash of papers.  Hope you all are having a wonderful President's Day.  Thanks so much for stopping by.  I would love to hear from you!

Lots of Hugs,
Laura
