Cardz TV Stamps Design Team Challenge "Bling It Up!"

Welcome to the Cardz TV Stamps Design Team Challenge #15 "Bling It Up!"  I am so glad you stopped by!  Mary over at Cardz TV gave our Design Team a Challenge with bling.  When she told us, I knew what I wanted to do.  A couple of weeks ago I purchased the Cricut Lite cartridge Teddy Bear Parade.  Ladies, let me tell you I couldn't put the cartridge down!  I just had to cut this little cutie because I knew it went perfect with the sentiment.  It's a must have in my book.

The card base is 5 1/2 x 5 1/2.  For the sentiment I used the Cardz TV Stamp set "Good Friends."  The bear was cut at 3 1/2 inches as well as all of the layers.  I cut the clouds out from the Hello Kitty Greetings cartridge.  The sentiment one was cut out at 1 1/4, and the smaller ones were cut out at 3/4 inches.  I found the bling rain drops at Bennion Crafts.  They are made by My Little Yellow Bicycle.   I'm not sure which cartridge the grass came from but I had to trim a little bit on the tips.  I found extra strips for a past project and I didn't write which cartridge I used.  Ooops!

Now it's your turn!  I invite you to take the Challenge!  Just create a card, or layout, or craft project using lots of bling.  You can use ANY theme and ANY colors you'd like.  The Challenge runs from September 21st-27.  You have until Midnight E.S.T Thursday, September 27th.  Once you've created your entry, head on over to Cardz TV and enter your project into Mr. Linky with a link to your blog.  Mary will announce the lucky winner of one of her awesome stamp sets on Friday, September 28th.  I can't wait to see what you all create!  Who doesn't love bling right?  BLING IT UP!

I hope you stop by the other talented Design Team member's blogs for more inspiration.  I will be posting another project on Saturday.  I hope you come back to check it out.  Thank you so much for stopping by, and I would REALLY love to hear from you.  If you are new to my blog, I would REALLY love to have you as a follower.

Lots of Hugs,
Laura

Caught a Bug?

Happy Monday to everyone!   I know for me the weekend went way too fast!  I recently made this card using the Hello Kitty Greetings cartridge.  I used the Cardz TV stamp set "Going Buggy."

For Hello Kitty, I cut the whole thing out at 3 1/4 inches.  I originally cut out the card feature for this but decided to put it on a 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 card.  I wanted it to look like she was in her bedroom.  The window came from the Christmas Solutions cartridge and was cut out at 2 3/4 inches for the blue window frame and the blackout feature.  The butterfly was cut using a punch that I've had for a long time.  The blue patterned paper came from a Recollections paper pack and was cut at 5 1/4 x 5 1/4.  I used Stampin' Up punches for the sentiment.  I cut a small rectangle out of purple cardstock and wrote on it using a Micron marker.  There is an actual piece of tissue in there for her in case she needs it.  LOL  Thanks so much for stopping by today, I would really love to hear from you.  By the way, my awesome friend Jillian helped me create a blog button this weekend!  Thanks so much Jillian!  Would love it if you grab it!

Halloween Door Hanger

I know Halloween isn't for a while but I wanted to try a large Rosette.  It measures about 8 3/4 inches in diameter.  The paper is from a Studio G pack I found at Walmart for .97!  (Thanks for the info Mary!  She had a video of the great things she found at Walmart by Studio G and all the things were  .97!  Ribbon, stamps, paper packs & more!)  Anyway, the scallop circle and layers were cut from Elegant Edges at 6 inches.  Hello Kitty is from the Hello Kitty Greetings cartridge, and all layers were cut at 2 1/4 inches.  The sentiment is from Kristal Andrews new stamp set Winter Wishes that I won in a giveaway!  (Thanks SO much Kristal!)  The little bats are from a Studio G mini punch for the  .97 bins at Walmart.  In the bottom picture I added little black and purple bat confetti.  I think I will make one for fall next.  Here's a link to Kristal's blog:  www.gettingcricky.com  They are so much fun!  Hope you all are having a safe and fun Labor Day weekend!  Thanks for stopping by!
