"Fun Fold" Cardz TV 3-D Challenge #2

It's Friday, and time for another Cardz TV 3-D Challenge!  Our challenge was to make a 3-D card for Halloween.  I love to make Tri-Shutter cards. This one is a little different because it has a bigger panel to write on.                
  
For the "Flying by with a WITCHY hi!" I used the "Oct. 31st" Cardz TV Stamps set.  For the "BOOtiful!" and "YIKES" I used the "More Spooky Sayings" set. The "No tricks, Just Treats!" and "Happy OWL-oween!" came from the "Frankly Frightful" set.  These are all AWESOME sets for Halloween!  The papers, witch, cat, spider, owl, pumpkin, and little Franky are from Doodlebug.  The ghost was cut using the Fun Fall framelit set from Stampin' Up!

Cardz TV Go-to Galz Challenge #38 "Ghost and Goblin Party"

Hello my friends!  It's Friday!  That means another Cardz TV Go-to Galz Challenge!  We were to make a card, layout or other project using ghosts and goblins.  For my project I used two Cardz TV Stamps sets.  The "Things that go bump in the night" came from the "More Spooky Sayings."  The "Happy Halloween" came from the "Trick or Treat" set.

I used my Stampin' Up owl builder punch for the ghost, witch and bat.  I used part of that punch for the bristles of the broom.  The witches hat was made using the small oval punch, and part of the Blossom Builder punch.   For the top of the tree I used a scallop punch for the the tree.  The patterned paper is from a Doodlebug 6 x 6 Halloween paper pack.  For the fence I used the Stampin' Up scallop border punch and scored it.  The spider is a Studio G punch.   For the inside I used my favorite corner punch.

Now it's your turn!  Create a card, layout, or other craft project for Halloween using ghosts and goblins.  You have until noon EST October 31st.  Once you've completed it, head on over to Mary's blog and enter your project.  She will be giving away a set of her awesome stamps to the winner.

You've Been BOOed!

Hello my crafty friends!  If you are looking for my CTV Go-to Galz Breast Cancer Awareness challenge Click Here.  Here's a quick file card I made using the We R Memory Keepers envelope punch board.  If you haven't picked one up yet, I highly recommend one of these.  There are other uses for it other than envelopes.  I've been making some treat holders with it that I will share pictures of soon.

The B-O-O on the front came from a retired Stampin' Up set.  I used two different Cardz TV Stamps sets.  The "Yikes!" came from the "More Spooky Sayings" set, and the "You have been BOOed!" and "Happy Halloween" came from the new "Trick or Treat" set.  The stamp You have been BOOed! actually says, "Have you been BOOed?"  I just used scotch tape to mask off the stamp and reword it.

I used the Stampin' Up word window punch and the modern label punch for the Yikes!  I used a banner punch I had bought at Hobby Lobby.  The paper is from Doodlebug.  What do you think?

Pirate Trick-or-Treater

Hello my craft friends!  I hope you all are having a great day so far.  I woke up at 5:00 a.m. this morning to snow on the ground!  Unbelievable!  By next Tuesday, it is supposed to get up to 68!  Anyway, with Halloween less than a week away, I wanted to share another card with you all.  I just love the new Teddy Bear Parade cartridge!  I've cut several of them out but haven't put them all on cards yet.  I had cut out this little guy and knew what I wanted to do with him.  I wanted to make him a little trick-or-treater with his little pumpkin.  I cut him out at 3 1/4 inches as well as all of his layers.  He has little foam squares on the back of him.  The pumpkin actually belongs to the little bear dressed as a pumpkin.  I cut it out at 3/4 inches.  The paper for the larger mat was from a K & Co. stack.  The smaller mat came from a small Recollections Halloween stack.  The little candy stickers came from my stash.

Free Broom Rides

Hello my crafty friends!  I know I've been sharing lots of treat holders lately so I thought I would throw in a card.  I've been having soooo much fun with Mary's Stamps!  For the sentiments, I used the Cardz TV Stamps set "October 31st."

                                     
I used the D'vine Swirls Cuttlebug folder for the top piece.  The witch came from a K & Co. sticker pack that has foam tape already on the back.  I've had the candy corn shaped brads in my stash for a long time but have never used them.  LOL  There is foam tape under the black cardstock to create a stopper for the purple.  The orange sentiment mat was cut using some Graphic 45 paper.  I used a glitter gel pen for the stitching.  I used a Stampin' Up! border punch on the top of the black cardstock.

The Witching Hour

Hello my friends!  I hope you all are having a wonderful fall day!  I've had the idea for this card ever since Mary over at Cardz TV came out with the Cardz TV Stamp set, "More Spooky Sayings."  I found this patterned paper at Bennion Crafts made by Graphic 45.  I knew just what I wanted to use it for.  When my daughter was a baby, at a certain hour at night she used to get really fussy.  My aunt used to call it "the witching hour."  I'm glad she out grew that!
                                          
I hadn't made a tall card in a long time, so I decided it was time.  I wanted to make a tall card so you could see more of the clocks.  It measures 3 3/4 x 9 1/4.  The green mat measures 3 1/2 x 9.  The orange mat measures 3 1/4 x 8 3/4.  The patterned paper measures 3 x 8 1/2.  The cute little witch came from a K & Co. embellishment package.  I put little foam squares on the back of her to add dimension.  The corner punch is from EK Success.

Cardz TV Stamps Design Team "Buttons and Boo's" Challenge

Welcome to the Cardz TV Stamps Design Team "Buttons and Boo's" Challenge!  I am so glad you stopped by!  Mary over at Cardz TV gave our Design Team a Challenge to create a Halloween card, layout or craft project using buttons.  Who doesn't love buttons right?

My card base is 4 1/4 x 5 1/2.  I used Bazzill cardstock for the base.  For the sentiment, I used the Cardz TV Stamps set Oct. 31st.  This is a great set!  I found this cute checkerboard paper at Bennion Crafts here in town by Graphic 45.  The star patterned paper came from JoAnn's   The cute little ghost and the sentiment mat came from a K & Co. pack.  I love this little package of embellishments!  It has cute little ghosts, pumpkins, witches, spiders, and sentiments.  One of my favorites is a little dog dressed as a Vampire.  I made a couple of projects with this little guy that I will be sharing with you in the coming days of the Challenge.  The buttons are from my stash.

Cardz TV Stamps Design Team Challenge #14 "Happy Holidays~Pick One!"

Welcome back to day two of the Cardz TV  Design Team Challenge #14 "Happy Holidays~Pick One!"  I hope you have had a chance to start on your card, layout, or craft project for any holiday and using any colors you would like.  I have to tell you I am having a blast with this challenge.  I am also having a blast with the new Create A Critter 2 cartridge!  I have been cutting like crazy!

My card is 4 1/4 x 5 1/2.   For my card I used the Cardz TV Stamps set "Spooky Sayings."  I love this set!  The cute little bear came from the Create A Critter 2 cartridge.  I cut it out at 3 1/2 inches.  The patterned paper came from a new
K & Company 12 x 12 paper stack and was cut at 4 x 5 1/4.  For the little bones I used a Fiskars hand punch.  For the mat behind the bear, I used a Sizzix folder.

Cardz TV Stamps Design Team Challenge 14 "Happy Holidays~Pick One"

Welcome to the Cardz TV Stamps Design Team Challenge #14 "Happy Holidays~Pick One!"  Mary over at Cardz TV gave our Design Team a challenge to create a card, layout, or craft project for ANY holiday using ANY colors.  Since next month is Halloween, I decided to use my new Cricut cartridge Create A Critter 2.  Let me tell you, this cartridge is AWESOME!!!!  I knew I had to use Mary's Cardz TV Stamp set "Spooky Sayings" for the sentiment! 

                                        

This card is 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 .  The patterned paper came from a new K & Company 12 x 12 paper stack that I found at Bennion Crafts.  Like I said, I used the new Create A Critter 2 cartridge.   I can't wait to cut out more things from this cartridge!  I cut the house at 4 1/4 inches for both layers.  For the cute little pirate ghost, I cut it at 1 1/2 for both layers.  For the little fence, I used a Fiskars edge punch.  I added some lime green buttons from my stash.  For the bats on the moon, I used a Studio G mini bat punch.

Halloween Card

Here's another fun card I made.  I used papers from a Recollections paper stack and 1 sheet from Hobby Lobby.  The dog is from the Create A Critter cartridge and was cut at 3 1/4 inches.  The pumpkin was cut using a small oval punch.  The bling leaf came from Michaels.  I really love these cards!  Hope everyone has a great weekend!  Thanks for stopping by and please let me know you were here.  I love your comments.

My Daughter's Spider Web Card

Here is a card that my daughter wanted to make with Moms help.  The "Creepy Crawlies" stamp is from my good friend Mary's Spooky Sayings set  from Cardz TV stamps.  Please check them out at cardztvstamps.blogspot.com  The paper is from a Recollections pack from Michaels.  The spiders were cut from the Happy Hauntings Cartridge.  The label was punched using a EK Success punch.  We popped up on two thicknesses of foam tape.  We used thread to hang the spider down from it.  Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend.  Thanks for stopping by!

Happy Howl-o-ween Card

Here's a card I made last night using Cardz TV stamps.  I love this set!  It's called Spooky Sayings.  Please check them out at cardztvstamps.blogspot.com  I love love love Mary!  She is so awesome!  The card base was cut from the Life's A Party cartridge and cut at 4 3/4 inches as well as the circle with the Halloween patterned paper.  The howling wolf was cut from the Pumpkin Carving cartridge.  It was cut at 4 inches.  I ran the top of the card base through the Cuttlebug using the larger Polka Dots folder.  The ribbon is from Michaels.  Hope everyone is having a blessed Sunday.  Please leave me some love!  Thanks for stopping by!

Halloween Easel Card

Good monday morning!  Saturday I went to my sister-in-law's house and spent the afternoon with family and friends making Halloween ATC's (Artist Trading Cards) and cards.  We had a blast!  I am in the Halloween mood.  So here's a Halloween Easel card I made last night.  The top patterned cardstock is from a Studio G pack I bought at Walmart for .97.  The purple bottom pieces are Bazzil cardstock.  The cute little dog is from Create A Critter.  All of the layers were cut at 2 3/4 inches.  The little Trick-or-Treat bag was cut from the Paper Doll Dress Up cartridge.  The little bones inside of the treat bag were cut from a punch.  The "Too Cute To Spook stamp is from the K Andrew Designs Winter Wishes set.  Here's a link to her blog:  www.gettingcricky.com   Hope everyone has a great week.  Thanks for stopping by!

Halloween Cards

My sister-in-law and I were talking yesterday about how we needed to start our Halloween cards, so I thought I would post a couple of pictures of Halloween cards.  This is a stair-step card.  The papers are from a Martha Stewart mat stack I bought from Michaels last year, the witch, pumpkin, ghost, and the cat are foam stickers, and the pumpkin stickers on the bottom are puffy stickers.  The stamps are from the dollar bins at Michaels.
