Graduation Card and Goodies
Hello my crafty friends! I hope you are having a wonderful Memorial Day weekend! I wanted to share a couple of things I made for my niece's Graduation. I found some scrapbook papers with my niece's high school on them at Bennion Crafts. (local) For the sentiments I used the Cardz TV Stamps set "School Days." For the tassel on the card, I used cross stitch floss and a hair elastic to gather it. I forgot to take a picture of the gift card inside the card. It goes right below where the You make me proud sentiment.
I recently went to a scrapbook store called Just Bee Scrappin' and found these little containers that look like a to-go soup container. I was going to wrap paper around it but because it decreases in diameter as it goes down, I couldn't. So I made the little graduation bear from the Teddy Bear Parade cartridge. It was cut at 3 inches. Their school colors are orange and black. I added an action wobble behind it. I made the rosette on top and used the Stampin' Up! scallop punch and the 1 3/8 circle punch. Inside the container are these little graduation caps with Reese's peanut butter cups. I used a 1 3/4 square punch and added a brad and ribbon.
It was a wonderful ceremony. I'm so proud of her! She's been very busy finishing High School and taking CNA classes.
Thanks so much for stopping by and I would really love to hear from you!
Lots of Hugs,
Laura

Graduation Card
Here is a card I made for my awesome son's graduation from High School back in May. The card is a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2. The striped paper is 4 x 5 1/4. The 2011 ribbon has an Action Wobble on the back. Whoever invented those things are awesome! The papers are from Recollections. The stickers were bought at Michaels. The middle is a folded frame. The sentiment on the bottom was printed on the computer.
