"Father's Day" Cardz TV Design Team Challenge
Happy Friday my crafty friends! Today starts another challenge over at Cardz TV. Mary gave us a challenge to create a card, layout, or other project for Father's Day. I used the Cardz TV Stamps "Father's Day" stamp set.
You know me, I love to make treat holders. I used a sheet of DCWV patterned paper that was cut at
8 1/2 x 8 1/2. I folded it in half tip to tip. Then with the opening on top, you fold down one tip and crease to where you want it. Then flip it back up. Then take one of the side points and fold over to be flush to the crease line. Repeat on the other side. Then you fold down the flap again to cover the folded over sides. Then I rounded the pouch out with my fingers by pulling and rounding as you go. On the bottom I pushed it up with my finger along the bottom. Then it should be able to stand up on it's own. I then measured the top flap. I cut the brown piece in a 4 x 4 square and then cut it in half. The white cardstock was cut at 3 x 3 inches and cut in half. I used a 3 inch scallop punch for the patterned paper. The green patterned paper was punched using a 2 1/2 circle punch. The brown scallop was punched using a 2 inch punch. The white circle with the sentiment was punched using a 1 3/4 punch. I added buttons from my stash. And of course, added Rolos and almond Hershey Kisses.
Now it's your turn to create a card, layout, or other craft project for Father's Day. You have until June 13th, 2013 to enter. Once you've finished, head on over to Cardz TV and enter your project. Mary will use random.org to pick the winner. She will be giving away a set of her fabulous stamps. I can't wait to see what you create!
Also, SCOOTINGRANNY please e-mail (queenpunki at aol dot com) me your address so I can send you your blog candy that you won. If I don't hear from you by Monday I will be choosing another winner. Thanks so much for stopping by and I would really love to hear from you! Have a great weekend!

Graduation Card and Goodies
Hello my crafty friends! I hope you are having a wonderful Memorial Day weekend! I wanted to share a couple of things I made for my niece's Graduation. I found some scrapbook papers with my niece's high school on them at Bennion Crafts. (local) For the sentiments I used the Cardz TV Stamps set "School Days." For the tassel on the card, I used cross stitch floss and a hair elastic to gather it. I forgot to take a picture of the gift card inside the card. It goes right below where the You make me proud sentiment.
I recently went to a scrapbook store called Just Bee Scrappin' and found these little containers that look like a to-go soup container. I was going to wrap paper around it but because it decreases in diameter as it goes down, I couldn't. So I made the little graduation bear from the Teddy Bear Parade cartridge. It was cut at 3 inches. Their school colors are orange and black. I added an action wobble behind it. I made the rosette on top and used the Stampin' Up! scallop punch and the 1 3/8 circle punch. Inside the container are these little graduation caps with Reese's peanut butter cups. I used a 1 3/4 square punch and added a brad and ribbon.
It was a wonderful ceremony. I'm so proud of her! She's been very busy finishing High School and taking CNA classes.
Thanks so much for stopping by and I would really love to hear from you!
Lots of Hugs,

For my card base I used the Birthday Bash cartridge. The base was cut at 4 3/4. I hand cut the white mat at 4 3/4 inches. The patterned paper is from Doodlebug and was cut at 5 inches using the cartridge. The snail and envelope were cut at 2 1/4 inches. On the inside, I used an EK Success corner punch. The white mat was cut at 4 3/4 inches. I also put the snail on an Action Wobble.

Just A Note
Hello my crafty friends! If you are looking for my "There's no other like my Mother" CTV DT Challenge CLICK HERE. I made this card for a friend of mine. My favorite color is blue and I've had these little flowers from Recollections that I've been wanting to use, so I added them to this card. For the base I used Bazzill cardstock. The patterned paper came from a paper pack I had found at my local craft store Bennion Crafts. I ran the white cardstock through the Cuttlebug using the Swiss Dots folder. I used the modern label punch and the word window punch from Stampin Up! The pearls are from my stash.
I hope you're all having a wonderful day. I would really love to hear from you!

Happy Friday my crafty friends! Today starts a new Challenge over at Cardz TV. Mary gave our Design Team a challenge to create a card, layout or other craft project for Mother's Day. I used the "Mother's Day" Cardz TV Stamps set.
My mom is my best friend. She is always caring, always giving, and I love her to the moon and back. Now to the card. I used Graphic 45 patterned paper for my card. The green patterned sentiment mat paper was cut using the Big Scalloped Spellbinder set. The bottom was punched with the Stampin' Up! scallop border punch. For the corners I used my favorite EK Success corner punch. The green leaves were punched using a punch from my stash. On the inside panels I used the Modern Wallpaper Cuttlebug folder.
Now it's your turn! Just create a card, layout or other craft project for Mother's Day. Then head on over to Mary's Blog and enter your project. You have until noon EST May 16th. Mary is giving away a set of her fabulous stamps! I can't wait to see what you create.
