Cardz TV Go-to Galz Challenge #36 "Colors of Fall"

Hello my friends!  Happy Friday!  It's that time again, time for another Cardz TV Go-to Galz Challenge!  This one is "Colors of Fall."  Use only the colors red, brown, gold, orange, purple.  Here in Utah, the trees in the mountains have started to change colors, and lately there has been a chill in the air in mornings.

For my project I made these little tea light candle holders.  I used the Cardz TV Stamps set "Fall Fun."  The paper is from the DCWV 6 x 6 stack called The Pumpkin Patch.    I used leaf punches for the leaves, and two different tag punches from Stampin' Up.  The ribbons are from Offray.  These will make great Christmas gifts for friends.

I hope you join us for the challenge.  All you have to do is make a card, layout, or other craft project.  Add your projects to Mr. Linky on Mary's blog.  She will be giving away a set of her fabulous stamps to the winner. You have until noon EST, Thursday, October 3rd to enter.  She will announce the winner on Friday October 4th.

By the way, Mary has 4 new awesome stamp sets in the store for pre-order and that will be available to ship this weekend!  I'm so excited to play with the new sets!

Thanks so much for stopping by, and I would really love to hear from you.  If you have any questions, leave me a comment with a way to contact you.  Have a great weekend!

Lots of Hugs,

Hello my friends!  Happy Friday!  Today starts another challenge for our Go-to Galz Design Team.  The challenge is to create a card, layout, or other craft project that celebrates the summer's harvest.  I used the Cardz TV Stamps set "Fall Fun."

The patterned paper is from a 6 x 6 mat stack from DCWV.  I used oval punches for the pumpkins.  I used the bird builder punch from Stampin' Up! for the stem on the pumpkins.  I punched leaves with punches that I've had for a long time.  The flourish punch is from EK Success.

Thinking of You Card

Hello my crafty friends! If you are looking for my CTVS Go-To Galz Challenge #34, CLICK HERE  I know it's been a while since I last posted.  It's been hectic.  I had to submit Continuing Education Units for my credentials, and babysitting, and my mom duties as well.

Anyway, I wanted to share this card I made for a friend who is having a rough time right now.  I used the  Cardz TV Stamps  set "Encouraging Thoughts" for the "When God closes a door, open a window," and the "Heartfelt Wishes" set for the "You are in my thoughts and prayers," and  "Simply Said" for the "Hang in there!"  The yellow polka dot paper is from Bo Bunny as well as the pink striped paper.  I used a flourish punch inside, and the Stampin' Up! Artisan punch for the tab.  I hand cut the fence, and window.  I ran the shutters through the Cuttlebug using the Pajama Stripes folder.  I used punches to make the small window, and the butterflies and flowers.

Thanks so much for stopping by!  I hope to hear from you!  Have a great day.

Lots of Hugs,
Laura

Lip Balm Holders

Hello my crafty friends!  I haven't posted for a little bit.  It's been a very busy time.  My little Princess started school today.  Anyway, I just wanted to share some lip balm holders I recently made with a friend of mine.  She gave me one similar to these so I decided to make some too.

I used the Cardz TV Stamps set "This 'N' That" for the Hope your day tickles you pink!, and U R Amazing!.  The Just for you! is from the "Simply Said" set.  The two banner stamps are from a Stampin' Up! hostess set called Banner Greetings.  I bought the lip balms at a local Avon store.

I hope to post again soon.  Have a great week.  Hope to hear from you!
