Cardz TV Challenge #11 "Anything Goes!" Day 2
Welcome back to day two of the Cardz TV Challenge #11! For my next project I decided to make a post-it note holder. My daughter and I were in Michaels and happened to see some Hello Kitty post-it's. My daughter and I couldn't resist. They also had these cute little dimensional stickers on foam tape. The post-it pad and stickers were only $1.50 each! Needless to say, my daughter wants me to make these for her friends.
So I measured the pad and came up with this cute little post-it note holder. The "A Sweet Hello" came from the Cardz TV Stamp "Ticket Talk 2." The pink Bazzill cardstock was cut at 3 1/4 x 6 5/8. I scored it at 3 1/8, and 3 1/2. The ribbon came from my ever growing ribbon stash.
I hope you have been working on your project for the Cardz TV Challenge "Anything Goes!" Just create a card or craft project using any theme or colors you'd like. After you've created it, head on over to Mary's blog and add your name and a link to your project into Mr. Linky. You have until Midnight EST June 24th. Mary will be using random.org to pick a winner. The prize will be a set of her Cardz TV stamp sets, WINNER'S CHOICE! I can't wait to see what you ladies create!
Thanks so much for stopping by! Please leave me a comment, I would really love hearing from you!

Cardz TV Challenge #11 "Anything Goes!"
Welcome to the Cardz TV Design Team Challenge #11 "Anything Goes!" Mary over at Cardz TV gave our Design Team a Challenge to create a card or craft project using any theme or colors we'd like. So I dug into a craft recipe book that I've had for a few years with projects I haven't done. A friend had shared this recipe with me after she had given me one of these cute little purses with a gift card inside. So I decided to make a few of these since I had never made one.
For the sentiments on the front, I used 2 different Cardz TV Stamp sets. The "God Bless You" and the "Sending You Love" came from the "Encouraging Thoughts" set. The "It's Your Day" came from the "Make A Wish" set. I really like how they turned out. I hope you like them.
Now it's your turn to join our Challenge! Just create a card or craft project using any theme or colors you'd like. Once you've completed your project, head on over to Cardz TV and enter your project into Mr. Linky with a link to your blog. You have until Midnight EST, June 24th to enter. Mary is giving away a set of Cardz TV Stamps, WINNER'S CHOICE! I hope you join us! Also, I hope you check out my DT sister's blogs for more inspiration.
Thanks so much for stopping by, I would REALLY love to hear from you! I will be posting a second project on Saturday so I hope you come back to my Castle to take a look.
Lots of Hugs,

Father's Day Card
I know Father's Day was yesterday but I wanted to share the card I gave my Dad. I have had this recipe in my book for a long time but never made it, so I decided to give it a try. I was in a rush and forgot to take pictures of it with a nice background, so here it is on plain white. The stamps are from Cardz TV. I used the "Father's Day" set. I put the slider on a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 card base. He really loved it.
Thanks so much for stopping by, and I would really love to hear from you!

Notebook
The Queen is going to be needing another craft recipe book, so I decided to make a jazzed up one. At my local craft store Bennion Crafts I found these note books for $1.00. I thought it was a great deal. So I picked up a few. They also have paper packs with patterned paper for only $1.99 by Nicole Crafts. Needless to say I have bought several different packs. I ran the white cardstock through the Cuttlebug using the Kassie's Brocade folder. I found the little stamp at Bennion Crafts. It was only .99. It has the Keep Calm and-- then you can interchange 6 different sayings that go with it. 1. Knit, 2. Draw, 3. Sew, 4. Paint, 5. Craft 6. Carry and then the On stamp. I used EK Success punches for the flourishes and the corners. I used bling from my stash.
Thanks so much for stopping by and I would really love to hear from you!

"My Guy" Cardz TV Cardz TV Challenge #10 Day 2
Welcome back to day 2 of the "My Guy" Cardz TV Challenge! For my day 1 project, please scroll down to yesterdays post. My daughter wants to give her father a tin sort of like the one's I gave for Mother's Day. Well the one's I had found for those had flowers on them. I knew those wouldn't do. At Bennion's Crafts (a local craft store) I found these metal tins. I used the same double sided paper to decorate it and for the Hershey Nuggets. I put some brown ribbon around the lid. For the sentiments, I used the Cardz TV Stamps set "Father's Day." For the blue ribbon I used the Stampin' Up! scallop circle punch and the 1 1/4 circle punch. I just cut some strips of matching paper and notched the ends with a corner punch. For the sentiments I used Paris Dusk Memento ink.
The Challenge over at Cardz TV is still going on through tomorrow night. I hope you are up for this challenge and enter. You have until Midnight EST to make a card or other project for Father's Day or a masculine Birthday card. Easy peasy right? Then head on over to Cardz TV and add a photo of your project into Mr. Linky with a link to your blog. Mary will be using random.org to pick a winner. "My Guy" Cardz TV Challenge # 10
Welcome to the "My Guy" Cardz TV Challenge #10! Our wonderful DT leader Mary over at Cardz TV gave us a Challenge to create a card, gift, or project for a masculine birthday, or Father's Day. For this post I chose to make a card for my daughter to give to her father. For this card I used the Cardz TV Stamp set "Father's Day." This is a wonderful set.
I'm not sure what this style of card is called. I used Bazzill cardstock and cut it at 5 1/2 x9 3/4 and scored it at 1 1/8, and 5 1/2. I found the double sided patterned paper at a local craft store called Bennion Crafts. It's by Moxxie. I used A Child's Year for the silhouette. I cut it out at 2 1/2 as well as the shadow. It can be found on page 40. I love the little pony tail. I used Elegant Edges and cut the oblong piece at 3 1/4, as well as the shadow. I used mini-buttons from my stash in the corners. I used a 3/4, 7/8, and 1 inch circle punches for the D A D on the outer flap. On the 3/4 circle punched pieces I stamped the letters using a Studio G alphabet set with Rich Cocoa Memento ink. I used Paris Dusk Memento ink for the front and inside sentiments. On the inside, I used my favorite EK Success corner punch. I used a half circle of Velcro to close the card. And of course I put a picture of my sweet girl on the inside.
Now, it's your turn! All you have to do is create a card, gift, or project for a masculine birthday, or Father's Day. Then, go to Mary's Blog and enter your project with your name and a link to your blog into Mr. Linky. Easy peasy! You have until Midnight EST, Sunday June 10th. Mary will be using random.org to pick a winner. She is giving away a set of Cardz TV Stamps, WINNER'S CHOICE!!!! She will announce the winner on Monday June 11, 2012. I hope you come join us! I hope you stop by my other DT sister's blogs and check out their awesome projects.
I'm going to have a second post on Saturday for the Challenge. I hope you stop back. Thanks so much for stopping by and I would really love to hear from you!
