Welcome back to day 2 of the Cardz TV Design Team Challenge #15 "Bling It Up!" I hope you've had a chance to check out the other talented ladies on the Design Team. For my second project, my Mom had asked me to make a card for a co-worker who sadly has breast cancer. Next month she is going to have a Mastectomy, possibly double. I pray she doesn't have to.
This card base is 4 1/4 x 5 1/2. For the sentiment, I used the Cardz TV Stamps "Encouraging Thoughts." The pink ribbon bling came from Michaels. They had a small section with breast cancer awareness items. The other bling came from Recollections. The patterned paper is from a Recollections stack. The corner punch is from EK Success, and for the border I used a Stampin' Up! border punch. For the ivory sentiment tag, I used a McGill punch, and for the black tag I used a EK Success punch.
I hope you've had a chance to start a card, layout or other craft project to enter the Challenge! Remember, you have until Midnight Thursday, September 27th to enter a picture and a link to your blog. Mary is giving away a set of Cardz TV Stamps to the winner!
Thanks so much for stopping by and I really hope to hear from you! Have an awesome weekend!
Lots of Hugs,

Cardz TV Stamps Design Team Challenge "Bling It Up!"
Welcome to the Cardz TV Stamps Design Team Challenge #15 "Bling It Up!" I am so glad you stopped by! Mary over at Cardz TV gave our Design Team a Challenge with bling. When she told us, I knew what I wanted to do. A couple of weeks ago I purchased the Cricut Lite cartridge Teddy Bear Parade. Ladies, let me tell you I couldn't put the cartridge down! I just had to cut this little cutie because I knew it went perfect with the sentiment. It's a must have in my book.
The card base is 5 1/2 x 5 1/2. For the sentiment I used the Cardz TV Stamp set "Good Friends." The bear was cut at 3 1/2 inches as well as all of the layers. I cut the clouds out from the Hello Kitty Greetings cartridge. The sentiment one was cut out at 1 1/4, and the smaller ones were cut out at 3/4 inches. I found the bling rain drops at Bennion Crafts. They are made by My Little Yellow Bicycle. I'm not sure which cartridge the grass came from but I had to trim a little bit on the tips. I found extra strips for a past project and I didn't write which cartridge I used. Ooops!
Now it's your turn! I invite you to take the Challenge! Just create a card, or layout, or craft project using lots of bling. You can use ANY theme and ANY colors you'd like. The Challenge runs from September 21st-27. You have until Midnight E.S.T Thursday, September 27th. Once you've created your entry, head on over to Cardz TV and enter your project into Mr. Linky with a link to your blog. Mary will announce the lucky winner of one of her awesome stamp sets on Friday, September 28th. I can't wait to see what you all create! Who doesn't love bling right? BLING IT UP!
I hope you stop by the other talented Design Team member's blogs for more inspiration. I will be posting another project on Saturday. I hope you come back to check it out. Thank you so much for stopping by, and I would REALLY love to hear from you. If you are new to my blog, I would REALLY love to have you as a follower.
Lots of Hugs,

Baby Shower Favor
Hello my friends! I have a niece who is due around the 20th of next month. I am helping her mother with the shower. I was playing around with ideas for favors for the shower and this is one of them. I used the Cardz TV Stamp set "Ticket Talk 2." Inside are little Hershey Nuggets. What do you think? I am so excited, two of my nieces are pregnant. One is expecting a boy, and the other is expecting a girl in February. I have been buying baby clothes!
Maybe I'll have to make some of these in pink for the other shower. I know I'll be making some of the Onsie cupcakes I made earlier this summer.
I hope you all are having a wonderful week! Thanks so much for stopping by, and I would really love to hear from you!

Got Candy?
Hello my friends! I hope you've had a chance to enter the Cardz TV Stamps Design Team Challenge, "Pick A Holiday! ~ Any Holiday!" I wanted to share some treat bags I've been working on. For the sentiment, I used the Cardz TV Stamp set "More Spooky Sayings."
I bought these cute little candy corn bags by Wilton at Michaels a few weeks ago. I decided to pull them out today and try a few. I have to say that the bags have LOTS of room for candy. I was in Michaels today and found a McGill punch that has 3 tags in 1. They were 50% off so I couldn't resist. I used Memento Tuxedo Black ink for the sentiment. Super simple, super cute!
Thanks so much for stopping by, and I would really love to hear from you! If you are new to my blog, I would really love to have you as a follower.

Mary over at Cardz TV gave our Design Team a challenge to create a card, layout, or craft project for ANY holiday using ANY colors. Since next month is Halloween, I decided to use my new Cricut cartridge Create A Critter 2. Let me tell you, this cartridge is AWESOME!!!! I knew I had to use Mary's Cardz TV Stamp set "Spooky Sayings" for the sentiment!
This card is 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 . The patterned paper came from a new K & Company 12 x 12 paper stack that I found at Bennion Crafts. Like I said, I used the new Create A Critter 2 cartridge. I can't wait to cut out more things from this cartridge! I cut the house at 4 1/4 inches for both layers. For the cute little pirate ghost, I cut it at 1 1/2 for both layers. Teacher's Notebook
I just wanted to share a notebook that I had made for my daughter's teacher. I cut out apples from Doodlecharms at 2 1/2 and 3 inches. I used a white gel pen for stitching. For the sentiments (except for the years and teachers name) I used the Cardz TV Stamp set "School Days." The ABC ribbon came from my stash. The patterned paper came from a Recollections pack at Michaels.
Super simple. I just measured the notebook and rounded the corners to match the cover. I hope you all are having a wonderful day! Thanks for stopping by, I would really love to hear from you!

Cardz TV Design Team "Brew Ha Ha" Blog Hop Day Two
Welcome to day two of the Cardz TV Design Team "Brew Ha Ha!" Blog Hop! I hope you have had a chance to go through our Hop to see all of the amazing projects my Design Team sisters have created. Don't you just love the new Cardz TV Stamps "Brew Ha Ha!" set that our Design Team collaborated on? I know I do! This is a definite must have.
For my card, the base is 4 1/4 x 5 1/2. I found this cute patterned paper at Bennion Crafts by Graphic 45. When I saw this I knew exactly what I wanted to do with it! It measures 4 x 5 1/4. For the little tea set I pulled out my Once Upon a Princess cartridge. When I found them in the book I knew I had to cut them because of the crown. (This Queen definitely loves crowns!) I cut the little tea cups out at 3/4 inches for both layers. The tea pot was cut out at 1 3/4 inches. I used a silver gel pen for the handles and the tops and bottoms of the cups and tea pot. I used a Stampin' Up! scallop edge punch, and a Martha Stewart edge punch. For the sentiments, I used two Stampin' Up! punches. I don't know if you can see it, but I put some Tulle behind the sentiment. I added some pearls from Recollections in the corners.
