"It's So You!" CTVS Design Team Challenge # 26

Happy Friday my crafty friends!  Today starts another challenge for the Cardz TV Stamps Design Team.  Mary over at Cardz TV gave us a challenge to create a card, layout, or other project using our favorite colors.  So here's mine.  I love blue.  I looked for blue patterned papers and found it was hard to find royal blue patterned papers.  I found this paper stack from DCWV called White Ginger.  This has a lot of pretty papers.

For my card base, I used Creative Cards.  I love this cartridge!  I cut it out at 5 1/4 inches as well as the layers.  If you use a 12 x 12 piece of paper, you can cut two cards out at one time.  For the sentiments I used the Cardz TV Stamps set "Simply Said."  This is a great set.  I used two different Stampin' Up! punches for the outer sentiment.  The small pearls on the sentiment mat are from Recollections.  I didn't have any small flowers to match the patterned papers, so I sponged some white flowers with Memento Bahama Blue ink.  For the leaves, I used a McGill punch.

Now it's your turn to take the challenge!  Just create a card, layout, or other craft project using YOUR favorite colors.  Once you've finished, head on over to Mary's Blog and enter your project.  You have until noon EST March 21st.  I can't wait to see what you create!  Mary's giving away a set of her wonderful stamps to the winner.  I hope you stop by the other design team member's blogs for some wonderful projects.

Thanks so much for stopping by, and I would really love to hear from you!  I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Lots of Hugs,
Laura
