Happy New Year!

Hello my crafty friends!  I hope you all had a wonderful New Year's celebration.  Here at the castle we had a wonderful get together.  Way to much food but a great time was had by all.  I decided to make these little treat holders that resemble a Chinese takeout box.  Inside is a fortune cookie that everyone could open at midnight.

I didn't embellish them too much since they will be thrown away.  To make the box I used the Petal Cone Die from Stampin' Up which is on the clearance rack on Stampin' Up's website.    For the sentiment I used the Cardz TV Stamps set "Going In Circles."  This is a great set that can be used for many different holidays.  The martini glass is a punch that I had bought a few years ago on clearance from Michaels made by EK Success.  I thought it would work for New Year's.
What do you think?  Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope to hear from you!  Have a great weekend and stay safe, especially those of you on the East Coast.

Lots of Hugs,
(The Queen)

  1. Cute idea! Great fun for a New Year's party!

  2. What a fun container for New Years! I love how you "dressed" them up and love the papers, the cute glass and of course the sentiment. How fun to have a fortune cookie to open at midnight, really love this idea. Hugs!

  3. You really are the Queen of Treat Holders! I love these cute little boxes and what a perfect idea to use fortune cookies for New Year! Love them!
Wish you and yours a Fantabulous 2014! May it be filled with God's Blessings!
