3D Cardz TV DT Challenge #5

Hello my crafty friends!  It's time for another challenge over at Cardz TV.  Our challenge was to make a 3D card, treat holder, or box.

I love the little Lindt chocolate bunnies.  They are so adorable!  (Even the little lambs and chicks.)  So I decided I wanted to make a little hutch for the bunny.  For the sentiment I used the Cardz TV Stamps set "Easter Blessings."  This is a beautiful set.  I love the sentiments and verses.  I used the Hardwood stamp from Stampin' Up for the wood panel look.
Banner - Itty Banner Framelit set (Stampin' Up)
Flowers - Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack (Stampin' Up)
Butterfly - Bitty Butterfly punch (Stampin' Up)
Branch - Owl Builder Punch (Stampin' Up)

Now it's your turn!  Just create a 3D card, treat holder or box.  Add your project on Mary's blog.  You have until noon EST April 2, 2015.  Mary will be giving a set of her fabulous stamp sets to the winner.  I can't wait to see what you create!

I know I haven't been posting very often or visiting your blogs lately. I've been having a hard time dealing with my dad's passing.  So much to deal with.  I hope to eventually get back on track.  Please bare with me.

Thanks so much for stopping by, and I would love to hear from you.  I hope you have a great weekend!

Lots of Hugs,
Laura

  2. I know how hard it must be dealing with your dad's passing Laura. I am having a hard time with dealing with hubby's cancer and now we are out of options with our doctor. I refuse to give up and won't let him go without a huge fight. Hang in there, I can't say it will get better, but you will learn just to live with it. Keep his memory alive by talking about him and looking at pictures. Big hugs to you my friend!!
Your treat box is adorable. I've never had these bunnies before but might have to try one this year. I love the wood grain look you did. Hugs, Brenda

  3. Hi Laura,
I wanted to tell you how much I appreciate that you leave me bloggie love. I know that you are having a hard time with the loss of your dad. Whenever you feel sad abut him just think about a fun memory, or something funny that happened when he was here on earth with us.
Don't forget those memories, it helps us. It's ok to feel the way you do. I lost my oldest sister about 22 years ago and today was one of those days That I could not stop thinking of her. When my sister was 12 yrs old my mom decided to cut her hair because my mom just had started beauty school and wanted to put to test what she had learned. Well, on that specific day that my mom cut my sisters hair, my sister was going to sing in a talent contest in school. Sh would have to stand inn front of the audience and sing.
Laura, my mom destroyed my sisters hair..LOL!
I still remember it now as if it had happen yesterday and I still LAUGH! My sister performed and won 2nd place but she was so upset with my mom. Every time my mom would look at my sister, she would laugh. We would all laugh..even now as I am typing and sharing this with you...You see I don't think about the sad part but only good ones. and the sad tears as time went by has turned to joyful tears. And also I know that she is with the lord resting beside him. I hope this helps...
Have a wonderful day my friend,

  6. Laura, take all the time you need to grieve. Try to think of the happy times you had with him, and how he is in a better place and no longer suffering. It may help you feel better when you're missing him terribly and during your saddest moments. Remember that
I'm only a phone call away if and when you need a shoulder.
As always, I love your project. This turned out so cute. And Lindt chcolates are one of my favs. I normally splurge on them at Easter and at Christmas :-)
Big hugs to you, my friend.

  7. Beautiful box, love that wood grain paper. I think that only time will heal your heart. I lost both of my parents within a year of each other and I know how difficult it is. Hugs.
