Cardz TV Go-to Galz Challenge #40 "Christmas Treat"

Hello my crafty friends!  I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving!  It's time for a Cardz TV Go-to Galz Challenge.  Today's challenge is to make a treat holder for Christmas giving.  I had these little gum packs in my cupboard that I was going to decorate for Halloween but had forgotten them.  So I decided to decorate them.

The sentiments are from the Cardz TV Stamps Tiny Tidings.  This set is fun!  The papers are from Doodlebug and one is from Recollections.  I used the Hexagon, small oval, large oval, and Artisan punch from Stampin' Up.  I cut a piece that was 1 15/16 x 4 3/4.   With the 4 3/4 inch side at the top of the score board, I scored it at 1 inch, 1 3/8 inch, 3, 3 3/8.  These are very low cost and make great treats for a quick gift for cashiers at stores or at the bank, and are very quick to make.

Now it's your turn!  Just make a Christmas treat holder and head on over to Mary's Blog and enter your project.  You have until noon EST on December 12 to enter.  Mary will be giving away a set of her fabulous stamp sets to the winner.  I hope you stop by the other ladies' blogs on the Design Team for more inspiration.  I will have more treat holders coming this week so check back.

Thanks for stopping by, and I would really love to hear from you.  If you are new to my blog I hope you become a follower.  I would love to have you.  Have a great weekend!

Lots of Hugs,
Laura

Num Num's

Hello my crafty friends!  My friend and I were making some treat holders recently.  I just love this little box because it's perfect to give to someone at the bank or grocery store.  It holds three Hershey Nuggets.  I wrapped them with papers from Stampin Up and Recollections.  The Ho Ho Ho and Num Num sentiments are from a Stampin Up set called Oh Goodies.  The May your holidays be SWEET! and Friends are the best presents are from the Cardz TV Stamps set "Tiny Tidings."  I used the Modern Label punch, Word Window punch, large and small oval punches from Stampin Up.  The little ornament and star were punched from a trio pack from Stampin Up.

I can't believe how time is just flying!  Thanksgiving is next week, and Christmas will be here before you know it!  Now I must get back to making treat holders for my daughter's class for Thanksgiving!  Have a great day!

Lots of Hugs,

Frosty

Hello my crafty friends!  If you are looking for my Cardz TV Go-to Galz "Thankful" challenge card CLICK HERE.  I almost forgot about these little guys until a friend of mine posted something similar on Facebook. (Thanks Shelly) I had to go find them and take some pictures.  My friend showed me these guys last year but I never had time to make them.  So here are a couple of them.  The sentiments are from Cardz TV Stamps set "Snow Day."  There are some really cute stamps on this set!  I used felt that I cut into strips and tied it around the instead of ribbon and snipped the ends.   If you want to make some, here's the tutorial she found.

Now I'm off to make a bunch more!  Thanks so much for stopping by!  Have a great day!

Lots of Hugs,

Cardz TV Go-to Galz Challenge #39 "Thankful"

Happy Friday my crafty friends!  It's time for a new Cardz TV Go-to Galz Challenge!  This challenge is called "Thankful."  We were to create a card for Thanksgiving.  When I think of Thanksgiving I think of getting together with family, delicious smells emanating from the kitchen.  Oh I can just smell Tom Turkey roasting in the oven, the smell of pumpkin pie.  Okay, enough, makes me want to cook a turkey now!

For my card I used the Cardz TV Stamps set "Thankful for you."  I masked the "We gather together" and the Count your blessings" off and stamped each word on a Decorative Label punch from Stampin' Up.  For the "Turkey Time!" I used "Thankful for you" and the "Fall Fun" set.  "So Thankful" and Happy Thanksgiving came from the "Thankful for you" set.  The papers on the long panels as well as the green patterned paper in the middle came from a Mary Engelbreit 6 x 6 paper pack I found in the $1.50 bins at Michaels.  The basket weave paper on the pop out panels is from Doodlebug.  The house, cute little hedgie, squirrel, turkey, cornucopia, and pies are from a Doodlebug sticker sheet.  I just love them!  I colored some jewels with a brown Sharpie.

What do you think?  I hope I've inspired you to join our Challenge.  Just make a card, layout, or other craft project for Thanksgiving.  You have until noon EST Thursday November 14th.  Once you're done, head on over to Mary's blog and enter your project.  Mary is giving away a set of her stamps to the winner.  I hope you check out the other ladies' blogs for more inspiration.  You won't be disappointed!

Thanks so much for stopping by, I would really love to hear from you!  If you are new to my blog, I hope you become a follower.  Have a great weekend!

Treacherous Treats

Hello my crafty friends!  I just wanted to share a few treats I made today.  I was shopping with my mom at a local grocery store and found these plastic goblets.  I'm not sure if you can see the skull and crossbones on them.  I used my Martha Stewart drippy goo punch.  For the sentiment, I used a retired Stampin' Up stamp set for the sentiment.  I attached it to a Pixy Stick.  Throw in some candy and add a bat ring and voila! Simple and fun.  I've made so many treat holders I haven't had a chance to take pictures of them all to share yet.  Hopefully I will before Halloween.  Right now I'm working on some treat holders for my daughter's basketball team's opening game on Wednesday.  Whew!

Anyway, thanks for stopping by!  I would love to hear what you think.  Hope you're having a great day!

Treats for Boo!

Happy Friday my crafty friends!  If you are looking for my CTV Go-to Galz "Ghost & Goblin Party" challenge Click Here.  I am so in love my with We R Memory Keepers punch board!  I've made so many treats with this little punch board.  I haven't made envelopes yet, but boy oh boy have I been making treat holders!!!!  I still have to make some for my mom's friends at work, and finish some for my daughter to pass out in her class.  These I made these for my aunt's bible study group she goes to.  Everyone loved them.

I've used different papers from Doodlebug, Graphic 45, and Me and My Big Ideas.  The "Treats for BOO! is from a retired Stampin' Up set.  I used the 3/4 inch circle punch for the sentiment, a 1 1/4 scallop circle punch, and the 1 3/4 scallop circle punch.  If you haven't purchased the envelope score board, I highly recommend it!  I may have to do a giveaway soon.
