"Say I Do!" Cardz TV Design Team Challenge #9 Day 2

Welcome to day two of the "Say I Do!" Cardz TV Design Team Challenge #9.  If you haven't seen my day one post, please scroll down to see the card I made.  This is a gift card holder I made out of a
4 1/4 x 5 1/2 envelope.  For the sentiments I used two different stamp sets.  The verse on the outside came from the Cardz TV Stamp set "Greater Love."  The Happy Wedding Day! came from the "Happy Days" set.  Love them!
I bought the envelopes from a local craft store called Bennion Crafts.  I love this store!  I am in there a LOT!
I found the patterned paper there as well and it matches the card that I made for day one of the Challenge.  It is double sided so I used the other side for the inside of it.   For the sentiment mat on the front of it, I used  the Nestabilities set Labels Four.  The ring is a sticker I found at Michaels.  The doves were punched using a Martha Stewart punch.  For the inside sentiment I used two different Stampin' Up! circle punches and the scalloped circle punch from Stampin' Up!  The ribbon was in my stash and I had found it at Joann's.

I hope you have stopped by the other ladies on the Design Team to see what wonderful projects they have created.  Also, Mary over at Cardz TV is giving away a set of Cardz TV Stamps, WINNER'S CHOICE.  To be entered for your chance to win, all you have to do is create a card, layout or other project for an engagement, wedding shower, or wedding.  Then add it into Mr. Linky on her blog.  You have until Midnight EST, Sunday May 27, 2012.  She will be using and announcing the winner on Monday May 28th.  I can't wait to see what you create.

Thanks so much for stopping by and I would really love to hear from you.  Hope you all are having a safe and wonderful Memorial Day weekend.

Lots of Hugs,
(The Queen)

  1. Another beautiful card Laura! How clever to use an envie for a gift card. The paper you used is beautiful, love the doves holding the ring sticker, which by the way looks so real! The ribbon is gorgeous too and of course Mary's sentiments work perfectly!! Have a wonderful Memorial Day my Veteran friend! Thanks for all you gave to our country!!

  2. this is beautiful. Love the idea behind it and now want to make it!
