Teacher Retirement Gift

I hope you all had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend!  It poured rain here for the weekend and got cold enough to turn on the furnace!  It snowed on the mountain peaks!  Anyway,  my daughter had her last day in 3rd grade on Friday.  Her teacher was retiring from teaching, so I decided to make her a mini-album.  I made this little video to show you how it turned out.  I used the Cardz TV Stamp set "School Days."  I just love this set!  The papers came from a cute Recollections paper pack from Michaels.  The apple is from the Doodlecharms cartridge.  The apple was cut out at 3 1/2 inches and for all of it's parts.  I put an Action Wobble on the back of it.  I used EK Success punches for the sentiment mats and the corners on the front.  I bought the sticker's at Michaels.  The ribbon came from my ever growing stash.

Thanks so much for stopping by!  I would really love to hear from you.

  2. What an awesome, awesome mini album Laura! I just love how it opens and keeps opening!! You have decorated it so well, loved the stamps sentiments from Mary's stamps-so perfect and loved all the stickers you used as well. A perfect way to use those stickers that we all still have. You can bet I will be watching this over and over trying to copy this idea! lol I'm sure your DD's teacher will cherish this mini! It's always sad to see a great teacher retire, but happy to see them go on and enjoy their years in retirement. Great job my friend!
